Did you take into consideration when bending the lines that they need to be same length, or when you brake you will be forcing more braking sooner to one side and not evenly? Meaning Unblanced braking and pulling to one side.
i spoke with someone about the line legth and was told it was not a problem, as long as all the air is out of the lines it will be the same as stock.

^ im with .J…
its all pressure, if the lines are filled with fluid and theres no air. then its all pressure. and pressure will build regardless of the length of lines. it will only require a little more fluid.
i just got another confirmation on the length of the lines being irrelevant from First State Moto.
i wanan go out and finish it but its been really cold. i cant even move my fingers right after about 5 minutes.
got a bit of an update on this, its been awhile. pics up tomorrow.
well im a little late on the update. oh well.
im not sure what to do with the fuel filter. anyone know if its ok to replace this style filter with an inline filter?
im gonna redo this a little prettier when i swap the motor.
Yes,
As long as you have something to clean the fuel with you should be just fine, don’t sweat it! And you can take a look at the “tucked and shaved” HT post in the Apperance and Cosmetic section for all sorts of ideas for the hardlines on the firewall. Looks good, glad to see that you had the follow through to see it finally installed!

anywhere you recommend i get a fuel filter? and how would it install? just cut the lines and attach the new filter?
???
