so im thinking of buying a intake manifold and dont know which one to get out of these ones…im going turbo and looking for somthing that will prepare me and will like to put on before i go turbo whichone should i get or do u have any suggestions
I would take the cheaper out of the 2. honestly with LS heads, your not going to see much of a gain because although you have a great flowing intake manifold, the head is still a bottleneck, and I would put that money toward headwork before I got a Intake manifold.
the more popular intake manifold is the edelbrock victor X for turbo applications. i have a skunk2 because i got a sweet deal on it. either of the two i mentioned will help significantly.
So I finally bought one and I need help stalling it I’m here in the garage scratching my head is there a write on the forum I been searching for it and cann t find one please help me guy it’s cold in my garage Ps a got a skunk2 pro manifold
so where do i loop it in again i dont know what u tlking about sorry about that. im giving up for today its to cold let me know thanks or do u have a picture of urs
if in doubt block it out. the hose block offs look clean and do the job only a dollar or so for 1
thats what i do. ive removed from most of mine but i have management aswell to disable sensors.
thanks man i block it out BUT NOW gas leaks out from the injectors when i turn the key to the on position…also on one injector the plastic tip is cracked and on another the top side of the injector there is a orange plastic top you can see…well its missing…should i just buy NEW injectors and a new fuel rail and if that what type of after market injectors should i get… and where can i get them at??..i need parts next day delivery…
Car has (now)Skunk2 IM/ headers/exhaust/intake/ :dozing:
its usually the cheaper of the 2 options. however depends how bad they are.
if u buy aftermarket injectors you will need to adjust ur fuel maps to accomodate extra fuel. so the cheaper option will be to overhaul or get new oem injectors
if the proclin tip is cracked I would replace the injector, a new one will run you about a $100 so you could try to pull a used one out of junker and just get new oring for them.
just remember you cant just use any old Oring. they have to be fuel compatable. I would just pick up a couple new ones from the dealer.
thanx for the advice but i am now kinda looking for aftermarket ones for now…i have never messed with the fuel system before … do u know of any aftermarket ones for the car?
