I work at a hardware store and I was really bored one night and stumbled across some 2 inch condiut pipes sold in 10 ft sections. Then I thought, “would this work for intercooler piping?” I asked another employee there if they thought it would be suitable for my application he said, “why not, but you won’t be able to bend it w/out a machine.” It looks very similar to the aluminum and ss tubing people always use, and it is light and dirt cheap. If heat transfer was a problem, couldn’t I just wrap it with that thermo exhaust stuff? Or, would conduit just not work at all? thanx.
up up and away!
should be okay-charge pipes are not that prone to heat-
hot air rises-the only concern I see is if it touches the downpipe
