Anybody have pictures of how you mounted your intercooler with the power steering cooler lines in the stock location? I would really like to keep my power steering, put it looks like i will have problems fitting the intercooler between the cooler lines and the front bumper. My intercooler is 3" thick.
i have heard that the front PS cooler lines can be removed. i would think you could just loop the line. i heard that the cooling capacity isn’t great enough too notice it being gone. i could be wrong though…

Just relocate the cooler higher up on the rad support. Easy fix.
just remove it! i did so and i have no problem witht the pwer steering, just rought the line to the compressor instead of line that cools it off. it works just fine, make sure u get power steering hose not regular hose i believe its 3/8
How do you know it’s actually “fine” tho? Sure it may steer and feel fine. But how do you know that fluid isn’t boiling and breaking down slowly? Either way. I doubt you need it for daily driving. If you were autoxing or etc then I would keep it in.

So your saying take the whole cooling loop out and just route a short piece of p/s hose? That sounds easy enough. How long have you been running it like that, godrifttoday?
several months because i also needed room for my intercooler and the fans but i have no problems but if it concerns you, what i would do is maybe get a longer house and make it go to the front of the car to cool it but i dont think its necessary

I carefully bent my P/S lines and put them behind the verticle bar that the hood latch is on. This made is so I had room for my JRC FMIC.
