Hello all,
My names Jeff and i’m 21. Live in the ol’ Northwest. I’ve had this integra for over a year now and plan on never letting it go. I only got a part time job with 20 hours a week, so the income is slow but do what i can. haha
Anyways i’ve been lurking on here forever and thought it was time to show my stuff lol
This is the story from the first day, I’ll update on it more when i get home from work.
I picked up a 1992 Integra DA9 with 205k miles, and the girl that had it, had already moved on to a different car cause, she said it would overheat and 3rd gear was hard to get into and that she hasnt driven it in awhile.
So we go and get the car, starts right up no problem. Now the drive was not what i was expecting at all, I drove it from Kirkland to Smokey Point, and for all you non Washingtonians, its about a 40 mile trip. Now, we were ready to get it towed, but wanted to see how it drove. So I filled up the coolant and drove. Well I must say, it drove all the way there! And by the end i was weaving through traffic and it loved it! Anyways, got it home and cleaned the engine bay to see what we got and it all looks great!
Of course it has some cosmetic issues, It looks like it was egged on the roof and hood but wont be hard to fix :] Also, she had this controller hooked up for her PSP, and unfortunately DRILLED HOLES through the dash to hide the wires There is also a small dent on the trophy piece above the bumper on the driver side.
I later cleaned it out and washed the carpet and of course took pictures :]
Cleaning the engine bay as soon as I got home.
How the Engine bay looked, such a clean valve cover!
Dirty carpet under the seats, and that black box was for a car phone! lol
Typical rear carpet rot
Here’s where the person decided to have their psp controller glued to with holes drilled in to run the wires through! The hell!?!?
Heres the paint peel I was talking about, I was believed it was egged but from what i’ve been told its typical wear and peel on these cars.
Anyways that was the first day I got my car and assesed what all I had to do.
Will post more when I get home with more up-to-date pictures with what I’ve done.
Have a great day y’all.
~Jeff
