Man i swore i just change my axle like 4 months ago…now i just saw freakin grease from the inner boot…anyone else have these problems…
i replaced mine and newer ones are clicking but the boots are not broken … to lazy to swap em out again.

I’ve heard of cv probs a lot from people that lower their cars… have you guys lowered yours, and if so, how much?
Hell yeah I got that problem. Both of my inner boots are split right now. I am just going to swap out both axles with some lifetime warranty ones so I dont have to pay for them anymore.

yea…got my passenger axle from autozone…with lifetime warranty…but my stupid ass bought the driver side from napa auto parts with just a year warranty plus you need the reciept to prove it which i lost…
Its not the axle thats the problem. Its what you put them through by having a lowered car.
I will second that Frank_DA9, only I will add, “having an improperly lowered car.” As in way to much, enough to damage suspension components, fenders and axels.

Over 2 months I broke my passenger side axle once and driver side 3 time. I don’t race my car and my car suspension is untouched but the axles weren’t Honda parts they were aftermarket and the size was just a little bit to small so after driving for awhile they’d be torn apart. Glad they had warranty. Always use the factory parts.
so autozone has lifetime warranty? what about if hte car is lowered does that void the warranty? oh and how much for the drivers side? i dont think i have the tools to do the rotor part so ill have to pay someone…
ya my boot is torn. eibachs on agx’s. guess how i fixed it? when i put in my agx’s i decided to fill the boot with grease, get some duct tape and wrap the sh*t of it . forgot about the ABS so i had to cut around that. i sealed the ends with zip ties. well it worked well for a few days, then the side closest the wheel slipped off. oh well. there really isnt any grip for that big end to stay on w/o blocking the ABS. the other side is still on tight. oh well cant say i tried to save 80bucks!
