Thx for tha info man
Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between the USDM ITR shift linkage vs. the JDM one?
Both USDM and JDM are the same in terms of size, thickness, etc. They have different finishes though.
I’m pretty sure all the gen3 linkages are identical but the ITR has a shorter throw (so different shifter).
USDM - black powdercoated or painted finish
JDM ITR- Zinc coated
I personally have the jdm itr linkage, it doesn’t really matter. I got a good deal on it a while back…
hope that answers your question
thanks, good lookin out

Resuscitating or better yet, re-animate this thread.
I just received my new ITR shift-linkage and shift lever in the mail. After opening up the box and inspecting the contents, I noticed that the linkage is black. Of course, I immediately panicked, thinking that these people sent me the wrong part. So I checked for Shift Lever and it was polished as described in a few threads I came across earlier, when researching the part numbers. It’s dual bent and bottom portion looks to be pretty stubby. Anyways, I jumped on the old information highway and started googling. Now keep in mind, I’m searching to find out the “USDM Integra Type R Shift Linkage color”. After a few quick reads, with nothing relevant I came across this thread that was started back in Feb 3, 2004 in which I found my answer! Thanks ambiguousasn, if you are still around. Let’s update this thread with a few pics to better help answers the questions that this thread does so well!

Oh and here is google search result for G2IC that brought me back here :]
Glad you posted this db2. I’m doing this right now or in a couple days. Inhave a question for you that I can seem to findnthe answer to.
- Will this bolt right up to a stock cable transmission?
- I’m not sure on the exact name but I’ve always heard it to refer to the “bitch pin” it’s the pin that goes into the linkage and the tranny.
If you do have any idea what I’m saying. Did you use one for a type R or one for a DA?
- Yes, it will bolt up to a stock cable trans
- IIRC, you can just reuse the stock “bitch” pin. Just use a punch driver to remove it-not too difficult.
Also it’s a good idea to change out the bushings as well.
Sorry what I mean was. Will the “bitch pin” be the same size for both of the linkage? Thank you
