Hey Jon, the Teg is looking great. I hope you’re heading down to the Black-Japan meet on the 19th. It would be nice to see you and Mike! Congrats on the wedding as well!
Aswome build man, love to see clean da’s around here im in New Hampshire so i aint that far…lol shoot me a add on facebook https://www.facebook.com/joejoe.michaud
Thanks!!!
Thanks Bryce! So, I ended up going to Japanese Day at the Larz Anderson museum in Brookline on the 19th. Hopefully I will catch you soon!
Thanks man, I sent you a request. You are right about that - there aren’t many clean DA’s around New England anymore.
I didn’t bring my camera to the car show but here’s a rolling shot from the drive back.
No problem Jon. I’m hoping to be up and drivable by next year, so here’s to next season maybe haha! Stopping by your old friend Russ Johnson this morning to see where my engine block is at. He still remembers you and your brother.
Yes! The famous last words! You will get there man. Russ is a great guy and his work is excellent.
So with winter here, the Integra is sitting in the garage. I’ve been busy working on the garage and I picked up two Subaru’s to fix and sell. I did the same thing last winter.
I’m hoping to get a roll bar this winter. Picked up a harness in the mean time:
Small but important detail. I have plans to replace my lower hot side piping with a T clamps and a 90 degree coupler at the turbo.
Picked up a nice Vintage 5 1/2" Craftsman Vice - Made is the USA
After about 8 years I finally organized my nuts and bolts:
New Tool box from my wife and I tried my hand at buildng myself a workbench (I’m no carpenter):
Looks great Jon!
I think. I love. Your garage.
Mine is such a clusterfuck its sickening. Makes me not even want to wrench. Nice new parts! :excite:

I’ve looked around on there since you linked it in my build thread. I haven’t registered yet though.

Thanks guys! Hoping to make some more improvements over the winter. To Colin’s point - never take the fact that you have a garage for granted! Time to get yours fixed up
Sooooo…I’m currently on a hunt for an AutoPower Race roll bar (60980) without removable brace . Unfortunately, these are hard to find used in New England. If the DC/EG bar fit in a DA it wouldn’t be a problem. That’s plan A, if anyone can recommend a good site to order Autopower products from that would be very helpful (Plan B). It kills me to have to spend double for a new one when I see them go for $350 used all time, but I may have to bite the bullet.
Yeah, those pop up regularly around here but not so much other places. Probably because Autopower is local. After seeing the one that Nate had for sale recently I wish I had the version that was made for the non-sunroof models. The one I have has a huge gap between the headliner and roll bar.
That’s interesting. Maybe I will select roof type solid when I place my order.
Yeah, if you don’t have a sunroof or are going to remove yours then for sure try to get the non-sunroof version, it should fit better.
Hey Jon, where did you get the replacement gas tank out of curiosity?
I got it from partsgeek.com. It’s the Dorman Tank. I think I paid $95 shipped at the time. I did a quick search and looks like you can get one for $139 shipped. I don’t think I added much detail about the install on my thread, but replacing the tank was a definitely one of my least favorite tasks ever. Make sure you buy all new OEM hardware. If I can help you in anyway let me know.
The first of a few updates. Picked up some new rubber for the spring:
NT01’s FTW!
wow… this car will be my inspiration!
i love the attention to detail in this thing!
What exhaust is that?

Thanks! It’s great to hear that kind of feedback.
The exhaust is a custom 3" I had done at a local shop. The Fart is can is just a generic one off of ebay.
Confession: this build thread has motivated me to overhaul my entire garage, get off my ass and by a db1 to replace my baby that got sold 9 years ago, and start a long-term g2 project…
Awesome work, Jdecks. Thanks for the inspiration.
