Jdeck's 92 DA Integra Build
Confession: this build thread has motivated me to overhaul my entire garage, get off my ass and by a db1 to replace my baby that got sold 9 years ago, and start a long-term g2 project…

Awesome work, Jdecks. Thanks for the inspiration.
That’s quite a compliment! There are plenty of people who have inspired me so If I can do the same that’s a great honor. The more people who follow the path of getting motivated to “build something of their own” the better.

It’s been a while since I’ve updated. I started on a few small projects to get the car ready for the Spring- replacing my 02 sensor, rear pads, inner tie rods, getting the roll bar delivered in two weeks, got my NT01’s mounted and installed my 90 degree couplers and new T clamps on the hot side. I’ll get some new pics up soon. The NT01’s look mean on the CP-R’s! I’m really hoping not to work on the car much this year and enjoy it as I start to “finish up” the project.

Besides the insane snow we got in MA this year, I started Ice Racing up in Vermont this winter. It was a blast! Here’s a few pics.

That’s awesome Jon! I have a silver '04 TS Wagon myself, it’s a bit beat up now since it’s been my daily beater car. I bought it when I was going snowboarding at Mammoth a lot but now it’s just my daily and doesn’t see any offroad or snow use anymore :frowning: I washed it for the first time in about 6 months the other day and it got me a little excited about it again. It needs new tires and I’m gonna look around to see if I can find any cheap OEM or aftermarket wheels, maybe some used lowering springs or something too.

Nice Colin! I owned a 2002 WRX Wagon a while back too, it’s in one of the photos on here. I love my Subaru, it’s a stellar appliance, especially considering the snow we get here. I actually share the OBS as a daily with my wife. I bought my buddies RS wheels for my Ice Racing tires and they looked decent, maybe you can find some of those. In the third photo down, the silver RS in the back is one of my best friend’s cars. I helped him swap a V8 JDM STI motor. He built his ice racing tires with 60 bolts in each tire!..that car is badass. He’s also an fantastic driver so riding with him on the ice was pretty much a roller coaster ride.

A few updates, a small but important detail - Finally got the parts to get my cowling complete.

Picked up some new rear pads:

Roll Bar came in on Monday, gonna prep and paint it this week:

Replaced my haggard Pedal covers:

Loving the small finishing touches - little stuff like the pedal covers make all the difference IMO. And as with everything else, get 'em while you can because most of this stuff is basically limited stock on the dealer shelves. Once it’s gone, its gone forever.

I know…it’s scary!

Roll bar is painted and ready to install.

Looks good, what paint did you use? I sprayed mine with a 2 stage frost white.

have you test fit it aftr it was welded together? i predict alot will have to come out to fit that in there lol

looks great though!

Thanks, it’s actually a few coats with a rattle can. Someone recommended the rust-oleum universal paints. Most have a satin clear mixed in. The color is “Carbon Mist”. I’ll be installing the roll bar tomorrow and taking the car out for the first time this year. I’m going to try keep my rear interior in tact, we’ll see how it goes. Also, looks like I’m going to have to find a second seat so that the safety “matches” the driver for HPDE. I’m thinking of getting the Corbeau FX1 Pro (29501P). I’ll post updates after the weekend.

So, I got the roll bar installed with my brother’s help (mdeck333 on instagram and nwp). I managed to keep my rear interior by using a hole saw and cutting a slit in the opening. I also had to separate the pieces in halves to squish it in there. It was a pain in the ass, but I think it’s worth it to show it off since it’s in such nice shape.

I took the car out for the first ride of the year to rip on it, the harness and tires felt awesome. I think all turbo guys get very obsessed with boost levels etc. I thought it was my imagination, but it seemed like I had boost leak, when set to high (17 psi) I was only seeing 12 psi and when set to low (10 psi) I was only hitting 6 psi. I built myself a leak tester and sure enough I had a few leaks in my older couplers. Some of those couplers go back as far as 2007 since they came with my first setup. I am getting my charge pipe welded up this week and I bought some couplers to redo everything, I think it was only a matter of time.

Glad to see your still going hard man, I’m still with out a teg, but I’m still doing cars

After replacing my entire intercooler piping, couplers and adding T bolts for everything, its holding boost great. I think the BOV might be leaking a tiny bit, I’m planning to do another boost leak test this week and find out. I also switched to Rotella T6 5w40 and the hint of burnt oil smell that I was getting at times seems to have disappeared. I finally got some time to wash and clean the car up for some photos of it’s “newest” state. I bought the tires for a purpose, but the look really completes the aesthetics of the car. This fitment looks way better than any cambered out mess IMO.

Soo beautiful! I need to make me one of those leak testers.

Car is looking excellent as usual!

Super clean as always Jon!

+1

WOW love the fitment looks awesome!! also so jelly on the AutoPower!

I love this car so much man. I wish I could see it in person some day. You and Dustin, doing it right.

Seeing your car in pictures makes me want to have a blue one, so clean and proper looking I wish I could see this in person. Just like I did on Dustin’s car, you guys got talents that I dont have lol. And dedication too…
