Jdeck's 92 DA Integra Build

Wish you the best on WekFest. I wish I can make that drive out there.

Jdeck are you making it to Honda day in august?

Thanks, I’ve been grinding hard on the small details, getting ready for Wekfest to show the car off in a “finished” form as I want to start to transition myself into the next project car.

Ozzman - I would love to but I have a newborn son at home and I have to choose wisely this year  . Hopefully next year I can make it to Honda Day.

Finally replacing my catch can setup with AN Lines and a decent baffled catch can.

I’d love to see how you plan to set yours up. This is one thing I keep putting off but really think I should get around to doing eventually since I’m at high RPM so much and I don’t think the OE system can handle it.

i would like to see how you route this one as well. I’m not NA so i’m curious on how you plan to route it so I can get an idea on how I will route mines

I have everything installed, but I don’t have pics yet. I’ll post them later this week. I have a few different mini projects running right now, again more pics to follow after the weekend.

Picked up a new HKS filter to replace my Apexi - modifying my intake tube to fit the new filter just right :cross::

Here’s a preview of one of my current projects - sourced out “smooth” chrome plated bolts (and stainless “smooth” allen heads, not pictured) and picked up some Downstar aluminum and red washers. Super excited about how it’s looking so far and looking forward to sharing the results.

Updates:

New hardware installed all around
HKS filter installed and fabbed up a lower bracket
Catch can + AN Lines to M28 block fitting installed
Polished fuel rail
Clear coated valve cover washers + new hardware

Lookin’ super clean as always! It’s those tiny finishing touches that make all the difference

Looks great!

I love your build, its clean, attention to detail, and the most important of all…you drive and enjoy the car with all the parts youve put in it.

so ive gone back through the thread but do you have any pics of how the cooler piping is run from the turbo and also clearance on the compressor housing to the radiator? im thinking of a new setup but dont want to lose my full size radiator

Saw your car at wekfest. Pretty sick. I was in and out of the show like a robbery though because I had a family function this afternoon. Would have loved to chat.

Thanks man! I appreciate that. My influences have always basically been initial D and Best Motoring International, both reflect beautiful and functional cars that are actually driven hard.

It’s super tight in there. I’ll try to get a better pic for you. I absolutely wanted to keep a full radiator so that’s why I went with the SS log. My compressor housing is probably around 1/2 inch or less from the radiator, as it the recirc tube. The piping makes an immediate 90 degree turn and runs parallel to the stock cross member, turn up 45 degrees and wraps around the radiator the front of the car through the intercooler.

Thanks Junkman! Yeah, next time I would love to meet you and chat!

I made the trip down to Wekfest East. Had a great time. Did the trip to NJ all in a day and the car did great, the morning ride down at 6am was a blast. Some pics from Wekfest

Does your oil dipstick not burn?? I’ve went through a couple and they always burn and the metal rod corrodes and snaps off. My manifold is ceramic coated and wrapped on top of that.

That happened to my old one, but it was the original dipstick. I’ve had a brand new OEM since May and it still looks brand new (so far).

I have a bunch of photos from the last month or so. Figured I’d update my thread:

Man, the more I look at it, the more I love this car. Well rounded and gorgeous.

Thanks!
