Yeah we are. The car has been off the road since October’09. Really want to get this thing on the road!
Should get some nice billet mounts. Hasport, Avid, or whatever. They would REALLY make your bay pop.
Paint looks great. I can NEVER say anything bad about a fellow Captiva Blue Pearl DA owner.
Bay looks stunning, man. I wish I would have had the time to go that far with mine. I can’t express enough how much I love your engine bay, bro. Awesome work
Yeah there were a few things I decided to cut out for now in order to actually get it to the tuner for May/June. Thanks for the kind words Man. I really put a lot of time into the engine bay and did my best to pay attention to detail.
Thanks! I’m planning on dropping the motor in this weekend or the next. Overall I’m curious how much power it will make and I’m pumped to put these wheels on!
Thanks man! I agree. I’m pretty harsh on myself and even after the first try on the brake tuck…The lines on the passenger side were bugging me so much!
Thanks bro…I don’t see too many B18a1 valve covers anymore. I remember when it was the killer swap!
SICK DA bro!!! i live in exeter NH. we will have to hook up soon, i am going to be organizing a meet for G2 owners and possible other honda owners in the area, but im gonna try to set up one just for New England G2 owners, its gonna be a sick meet! i may do it at my house cause i live right next to New England Drag Way so i was thinking on a saturday day time meet but going to friday night street night at the dragway and letting members that came from far away camp out at my house friday night for the saturday meet, IDK ill let ya all G2 family members know soon, NICE build, peace -your g2 brother DAG
Updates: I made some progress but I still have a ton to do. I made my tuning appointment for mid June, hopefully I can make that. I have to buy Hondata now and I originally was told they could retune crome but my tuner only does Hondata now. Also, I just found out that you have to drop the tank to install my 255 fuel pump! Not looking forward to that at all. Other than that I have a long list of small things. I ordered tires for the new wheels this week as well.
Getting ready to order my fuel fittings. I figured a way to reuse the B & M gauge on the stock rail so I can just order a 12mm Banjo to 6an adapter
Starting assembling some engine parts
Tested my wiring that was cut and re soldered and fuse box relocation
Put my suspension back together
Installing the new boost gauge and fixing my broken speedo cable
