what’s up guys, last weekend I installed fender flares that originally come from an 80’s jetta, tought I’d give it a shot, and see if they would fit my DA, this is how it came out looking!!!
they look good, but some suggestions for your car, remove the velocity stack they don’t do much to help unless your on the track all the time. Plus it looks weird sticking out in front of the bumper. Also remove/redo the red stripe its not straight.
not bad…now you need to get those 0 offset rims to tie everything off…and IMHO, to much things going with your car mang…
wow that look pretty sweet i might try that. what did you do to hold them on the car?
interesting…
well u start by doing some cuting on the flares untill they take the shape ur looking 4, got them at the junk yard for 30 bucks, firts drill holes on the flares usually 4 or 5 holes should be enough, also I bought some fender flare spray paint cus they were a little bit faded from the sun, then have a buddy help u hold it against the fender, then get some screws that can drill trough metal and that should be able 2 hold them in place, post some pics if anybody else tries it…
looks interesting… you should have used pop rivets… That way you can pre-drill the body, and rust protect it… Good job experimenting though… and i’d suggest loosing that little red pinstripe that goes along your moldings… it’s too much and it’s crooked…
that’s pretty cool
That actually looks pretty cool. I like.
i like those wheels. what are they?
btw the flares look nice to
Wow. I actually like that. You have alot going on with the car, and i like all of the ideas, but you just have to clean it up a little bit. For example, I like the red pinstripe idea but you should redo it so it is perfectly straight. Also, get the rest of the accord rear lip (im guessing thats what it is), and just make everything fit better and more cleaned up. haha ANYWAY it looks good i like it and its original.
Give you props for creativity, but I’m not a big fan of the flares. To me the take away from the lines of the car, they don’t really flow well. But that’s just my opinion. To each their own
It looks alright. I like the red pinstripe on the molding… kinda like the JDM Civic’s molding… just fix it to get it straight.
well Im defenetly not removing the pin stripe, but I am gona get it straight, as far as the rims I dont really know what brand they are I just bought them from my friend, anyway I apritiate everyones opinions, much props:up:
Hey was up man I live on the west coast but I travelled to austin to go see my family. One time I went out crusing and I saw your car parked at a taco bell restaurant around mlk road with some other guys and cars. It was couple months back. Car looks nice up close in person.
I dont like it, It looks kinda ghetto (IMO).
The car has way to much going on, The car is white, There’s alot of black plastic parts, the red tape stripe then gold wheels… It looks too cluttered
I Want Those Wheels!!
imo it looks great… now you can run some wide tires =P maybe i’ll do it to my front only… so i can run reversed staggered hehe
have u thought of molding it all together? make the lines flow better. IMO.
yeah thats what i was thinkings, the lines don’t flow. it’s too busy.
