two weeks ago Joshua Slingo and I came to an agreement. i will give him 70 cash and a head gasket for a torque converter. i have sent money through paypal and sent the head gasket thru UPS. that was two weeks ago. up until now, i dont even know if he even sent the part. can anyone help me? he is in california.

I have told you that the package was being shipped via fedex. i have printed the label and left it with a friend. Becasuse i had to leave to sacramento for a business trip Unfortunalty the friend flaked on me after i gave him 20 bucks to drop it off. so the package is being dropped off by me tomarrow morning. i have tried to drop this package off a few times but either the line was to long or they were closed.
I have also told you that i have been unable to ship it via family issues. i have had two people die that were very close to me in 2 weeks time and that i have a very busy job. i service 3/4thss of california by myself and sometimes dont get home untill 10-12 oclock at night.
we have came to an agreement on the torque converter and i plan on keeping that agreement. but family issues have gotten in the way. i thought you understood that. i guess not. but non the less the package is being shipped tomarrow morning. if you want i can post a picture of the package as it sits right now with the shipping label. i have sold and bought from many people on this board. most of them if not all of them will voutch for me. if you need to further contact me my cell is 760-646-4638. you didnt need to bring the rest of the fourm into our agreement. you could of easily asked me for my cell or anything else you wanted to know.

joshua - i do not regret bringing this to the forum. i had to do what i had to do. it has just been 2 weeks and im under some pressure as well. i sent you an email about how i felt about your situation but you have to understand mine as well. i told you that i needed that part asap for my girls car. her birthday is this weekend on the 18th. i wanted to have the car working by then. i also sent you my contact information in the emails, you could have also called me about any delays.
i also understand your rating on this forum. i tried contacting fsufan but was not able to message him to make sure you are legit. dont take it personal, im sure if you were in my shoes you would probably do the same thing.

No i would of waited to bring the fourm into this. that was bullshit. u bring my character into play as well as my place of residence. its been two weeks and its only been 2 days since ive gotten the headgasket as well.
i have notified you of everything there was regarding your shipment(everytime you emailed me). i have done everything humanly possible to make you happy. i have responded to every email sent. ive cut deals with u on this torque converter, and u still push me to make more.
im sorry for the delay but im not going to sacrafice my job nor am i going to not go to my families funerals and such other get-to-gethers that we have.
also check out my for sale ads for further voutchers. crazyboy for one will give me high marks.
i would understand if its been a month but its been 2 weeks and with what i have been going through is understandable to most people and then on top of all the things im going through, u send me an email almost every single day. thats rediculious when i tell u im going someplace and that i would contact you when i get back into town.
ive been nice and tried to do everything i humanly can to get u your package on time. but shit happans in life, your just going to have to wait till tomarrow when i take it to the post office. theres nothing i can do on a sunday.

However, two weeks is also along period to wait and most people become sketchy about transactions. I hope both of you work things out. Sounds like it’ll be worked out tomorrow. We’ll see.

i apologize for this whole matter but i had to do what i had to do, to me it wasnt bullshit. just understand on my part that i dont usually buy things through forums. this is my first time doing something like this…and i swear by that. but like NTegraLS said two weeks is a long time to wait and i certainly was getting a little “sketchy”. i know you had your problems but still…all i can say is just look at it from my point of view. if you were in my position im sure you would have done the same. also, i wasnt asking you to sacrifice your job or anything.

for me personally i dont think 2 weeks is long enough to bring someone on a public fourm when they have voutches of being a good seller and a honest person and when u know that there having problems at home. alittle longer then this then yea it would of been time. but not 2 weeks. also i was going to send it today weather this happand or not on this fourm. i made a promise that i would send it as soon as i got back if my friend flaked and i did just what i promised.
