ok, here goes.

i love my NA set-up. really, i do. however, its not enough.

so, i don’t really want to turbo. no real reason, its prob. cheaper and easier but not what i want to do.

so im thinkin, JR makes a SC for my teg…so i know it will fit the motor, does ne one know what modification will be needed?

im really interested in doin this its only about 2200$ and i get the power i want.

if anyone could help me out, or link me to a thread that would be great. like i said i tried searchin but didn’t really come up with anything.

only thing I can think of is that you might have firewall clearence issues.

can someone elaborate on the clearance issue?

I would imagine you would have the same issues with that engine as the others. There are pics up somewhere that show the blower pulley hitting the MC/Booster.

There are also some old threads of a member who put the Vortech S/C on his B17 engine. You would probably have more luck with the Vortech than the JRSC.

The JRSC wont fit…

The Vortech unit will obviously, but dont think your car wont be down weeks while you massage it in there.

If you want to SC, get a 94+ Teg I guess. Go Turbo, a nice small one…you will be much happier.

I need to make a trip up soon though and see my old stompin grounds (4 years @ RIT)
