K20 DA's??? Anybody built one??
Kool, I probably will, I like how it looks wit out the long cable in there…

Skid plate, not a bad idea, lol… wow, not even 4 inches, its crazy… but its worth it… its fun driving it… are there a lot of k swap DAs in Canada, that u know of???
i don`t think they are too popular areound here. The only other one i know of is silchukis.

Yea wheres sil? havent heard fromthe last time i asked about his car. Hope its almost done.

And why didnt any of you milwaukee crew help me out sonsssss? Just playing abs did a shit load of that. Def great seeing all tthe swaps.
Ohhhhhh I see, I was to amazed by the pictures that I didn’t read… and are they still selling that conversion???

No, its not a k24, it the american k20a2, I’m building a k24 block wit the k20a2 head. My a2 block got crack cuz my oil pan to ground clearance was low
From just ordering that bracket it took me like 2-3 weeks and it was calling them like twice a week so if your in a hurry to drive the car dont start taking your car apart to swap that bracket in until you have it. But after that like abs said he posted earlier a review and some tips for me so they will obviously work for you with a lilttle tweeking.

Good luck on the frank build thats how i was going to go but maybe turbo now that ive read a bunch and it only max’s out with like 290 whp and 205ft/lb something like that i beleive dont quote me on those numbers.

Oh and also can any of you milwaukeee crew find me a motor/transmission/complete swap i thought there was going to be an abundance around being such an exspensive build, but i was wrong.

I’m still alive, yeah yeah.

No update, anyone have a broken JDM One-Piece laying around?
Thanks!! Man was that fun day or what? Did you make it back okay with the exhaust system?
it was sure fun right up until the exhaust broke and they flagged me in… driving home was a mission… it was 2 hours of 3rd gear @3000 rpm traffic, and w/that broken muffler…the aluminium tape lasted maybe 30 mins before it gave up !

I understand there will be another event on July 1…get out there !
thanks mounts are from hybrid racing

over here i find plenty of swaps

i got the k20z3 lsd out of a 09 si
Aw man that musta been rough. I had a ton of earplugs with me, wish I woulda thought of it.

I hope to have the car ready in time :fingerscrossed:

N/M got it taken care of now took a while though.

Hey any of you guys have a 02-04 type-s TB laying around i could get

What up guys!well long time since I’ve posted on here.anyways abs you got any pics for me on the hybrid race harness? I just don’t wanna fry kpro the first time I start my car(still a while away from that though)

I don`t have a pic and I removed it from the harness so its tucked away in a box somewhere. I ran the wiring just like the hybrid insturuction say and the power for the ecu had a 10 amp(iirc) fuse for protection.

Hows it coming along?

Nice good call on the fuse for the power ! It’s getting there slowly just got frustrated with it for a while so I didn’t work on it for a bit plus i was waiting for other stuff to continue the stuff I was doing. Basically just switching from one thing to another. Back an forth. Then I started making my mock up panels for Honda rust and during that I found some other stuff I have to remove and make. So I’m like 35% done.lol it’s getting there

Wouldnt wanna buy more than one k-pro!!! Its weird that they dont mention the fuse in the instructions from hybrid:crazy:. Shooting for next summer?

Hahahah yea next fall/summer. And exactly that’s why I was asking you about wiring. I don’t wanna learn my lesson for that price. Thanks for the info.

dude honestly you’ll be better off doing a jswap…for the money you’ll be spending in a k! you can do a nasty v6 swap in the DA…at least my opinion…the k motor goes for 2000-2500 with the tranny… now a j motor u can get a cl type s with the 6speed tranny ecu and harness for 1500 u already saving 1000!!!lol… and the power and torque from the j-series motor ! is sick next to the K…i would do that if you want to be different lol.Dont get me wrong…k series r nice motors but the swap is too expensive for the gain.i got the j motor …just need a tranny… i might consider doing this swap myself…but first am going to get the looks and paint out of the way before focusing on a swap.:hmm:

yeah man i totally agree. youre so smart why would anyone go with a K-series motor? i mean, everyone loves having to cut their hoods and loosing some ground clearance is no issue at all for a track car. yo reply back in another ridiculously annoying font bro, lets see how many retinas we can burn tonite

LOL… whats the big deal about cutting a Hood??? lol its not rocket science? labor to cut a hood proffesionally is less than $100 lol… and ground clearence?? you have more than enought unless your a low rider?? LOL that was a joke. but you get my point… and its not a track car. it can be a perfect daily! if you build it right bro…

your making seem like there is no costum work in doing a k-swap!! personally i think the swap is way too expensive!! for the gains… lol. thats y i said with the j series would be stepping on k’s all day long and spend less money!!..doing so!. now the fact that cutting a hood scares you?? you will be more scare when you get stomped on by a j series …

and people who do k-swaps dont use the cars as daily drivers… very very few do… and not all the time… they mostly track cars also… so that comment about daily drivers is a broad topic so lets not go there… mostly all strong builds are not daily drivers at all times…

It’s not because of the engine that we don’t use our cars as daily

but anyways that was just my opinion, i never said a k swap would not be nice. i just think the swap s not worth so much for the money it cost. now the fact that hasport dont make mounts or axles for the Da yet i guess the k is the best swap avariable at the time. but yet again you would prob spends the same amount making costum mounts and axles for the j series as buying k20 mounts and axles from hasport. but i guess not everyone is ready to take it to the next level…

and im talking about both motors stock . a k20 stock vs j32 stock… am not refering to a k20 boosted fully build vs a j32. lol.

for the money each swap cost the j32 wins all the way vs the K !in power, torque, and less money spending.
the only comeback everyone has against the j swap is the hood cutting, like you stated in your green alien looking mesage, lol… come on bro lets be serious is cutting a hood such a bad thing? lol…that everyone shits their pants when they hear it.?

people fully gut their cars. put all types of roll cages and stuff. lol. but to cut a lil peice of your hood? is such a big scare.?

uh, how about not wanting a giant hole in my hood telling everyone there is a V6 in the car?

im not making it seem like shit.

lets not.
