Hey who did you guys go throuhgt for the mounts ? straight through innovative or through another company? i just want it right the first time im sick of being dicked around with all my parts. Took the local shop i was thinking about going through 2 1/2 weeks to get parts list pricing. then it took him another week and me going in there multiple times to just have him get me the list back. So i thats when i started to order my parts on 4/20 and that worked out better. Word to the wise if you live near waukesha DONT goto DELUSION H for any reason.
You should have bought those mounts that LKSi had for sale a little bit ago, they were super super cheap. I bought mine off of a member on here who never finished his build, same with the harness (different member though). Harness is Rywire, and the mounts are Innovative. Haven’t started on either one yet, so I can’t comment on the quality
Swhangin- If I were you I would just find the parts on my own. If you take your time and shop around, you should definitely be able to get most everything for under retail. Just my $.02
Yea i know i can find it cheaper other places and such, i just wanna stop being jerked around by companies and people in general. i just want to deal with a legit place that wont give me any b.s. even if that means paying a little bit more.
p.s. if you know any other people that halted there project let me know if they got some mounts for sale for cheaper. cause im about to pay those bills and then im ordering the mounts got alot of other stuff already

question time! Hey now i have the traction bar and was wondering do you need the stock radiator mounts for anything? Cause if not im gonna cut them off. also did either of you guys have a a problem with the shocks at all? like if im gonna use the shocks that came with my car. They are new, no not original. tokico blues with red springs? can i get away with them for now or am i gonna need new ones because of the new engine weight? let me know you guys gonna be getting the mounts on monday
Cut em off… use the brackets the traction bar comes with.
Weight wise i dont think the k weighs much more than a b, if anything at all so the suspesion should be fine.

basically got it all prolly have it running in a weeks to come hopefully. but i got a little rust to fix on the wheel well and paint after that to have it the way i want it for now, so maybe 2 months. hopefully if everything works out the way ii want it to.
on another note i was reading that the stock fuel pump is just as good as a walboro 255? is that true cause ill just get the oem one if this is true and not have to deal with anything really

About the pump…for real? If thats true its good news. Although im using a walbro 255lph-hp pump. I kept the old one for a spare.

I wasnt trying to be a dick, that just how interwebz foklore gets started.
Im not stating facts here as i dont know off the TOMH what a stock fuel pump flows but im 100% sure there not the same cause if they were, people would be boosting on stock fuel pumps with no problems at all.
Im sure running a N/A Kseries is not going to require a upgraded pump but it would leave options for the future :naughty:
