Leaning out on cylinder #1

I have a full-race style turbo manifold and I took the car for a long drive (2 hours on a +30C weather) and back.

When I got home I noticed that the Runner #1 is completely PURPLE! The rest of the runners are in golden brown color still.

I also noticed a month a go that I had a hard time taking out the spark plug on cylinder #1. Almost like it was stripped but it wasn’t.

Could it be faulty injectors? Fuel filter clogged? How does the fuel distribution on the cylinders work? I’m guessing valve-type where it open/close depending on voltage applied to the injector.

Thanks!

if it was a fuel filter issue, i think it would affect your motor in general as ar as how it’s running, not just a particular cylinder. i’d say bad injector, or could the gapping be wrong on that plug?

hth…

try pullin your plugs out and see what they look like
