I just wanted everyone to know NOT to buy from superbrightleds.com! I ordered 4 amber bulbs (for signals) and 4 red (for brakes). The only amber one that worked made the blinker click fast, even though all the bulbs lit up - and it looked nothing like an LED. In fact, it was dimmer than the other side. The other side wouldn’t light up though - the turn signal made a horrible grinding noise when I tried to use it. I put in the 1157 for the brakes, and they did not light up at all.

Needless to say…I am returning for a full refund. Really annoying, being that each bulb was $5 each. Bullshit.

were they in backwards? LED’s only light up in one direction. The timing of the blinker is an RC circuit. You dramatically change the resistance with the LEDs which is what causes the change in blinker speed.

I tried to put them in everyway possible. It was just really stupid, not what I expected at all.

U could of bought my 1156 amber ones. I was tryin’ to get rid of them too.
I think I still got like 3 sets left.
I still left the 2 front amber ones on my car, they only shine on the ground anyways though. It looks like I got an underglow kit.
I just wanted to keep the fast flashin’.

My Red 1157 LEDs work fine, I bought em’ from Autozone, or something.
They make the tail lights a little dimmer, so I’m only using 2 of them.
It makes my outer brake lights look brighter than my inner ones.

i buy all my leds from them with no issues.

i bought some amber LED bulb wedges pilot brand ones, those were really dimm…i just put the stock one back on

thats what I didn’t like…they made them dim and didn’t even look like LEDs

i really liked my leds i got from them. quite brite in fact. i use them in my autometer gauges. matches my gauge cluster perfectly.

yeah it probably does look good on GAUGES

good enough that i bought more and put them into my cluster as well. gonna do the console next. :danger:

yeah no problem. i’ll take some tommorrow night and post em up. maybe we all bought different led bulbs. i bought the “5led” or “5diode” 194 replacements which are polar specific(will only light if they are in the socket the right way). i dunno.

I personally hate yellow fogs, so I just don’t use my fogs since I can’t find any bulbs I like for them.

imcnblu has some nice fogs, go to the teg tips and read his fog light install thread, he has pics of his, I like them a lot.

why wouldn’t white headlights be legal? thats what comes on 90% of cars. :bang:

if anything, blue fogs are illegal.
