i have a b18b jdm and i was wondering how much boost i can run… my wastegate spring is a 10lb spring so thats the lowest it will go… i was wondering if 10lb would be safe for the car… the car is never driven really i just wanted somthing i could just go crazy wiht but is 10lb to much for it… and wat size injector would i have to get i have 450s dsm… and ive heard that i dont have to put the resistors in for 2g integras…
u can run 10lbs daily…any more it would need some rods. dsm 450s will be enough but 10lbs is the limit. basically ur at the limit :nana: lol 90-91 have resistor boxes already
Be sure to get a good fuel / spark management and a good tune, this will be the difference between boosting 1 weekend or many year before rebuild.
Boosting without proper fuel / spark management and tune is possible, of course, with a good rabbit foot.
lud is right get a good tuner and tune it perfectly and you got nothin to worry about…or you could get a smaller wastegate spring to like 8lbs. for stand alone i have the Hondata S200 and i got it for $285 shipped and works perfectly

i wonder why i was able to run 15-16 psi on my stock block ls all of last year, made 300 to the wheels with dsm 450 injectors
motor is still kickin and compression remains a solid 180 across all 4 cylinders

well ive read about turboedit and stuff like that is that the same as like aem ems … or can i just tune with a afc or thats no good enough… ive never done a turbo honda b4… putting it in wont be the problem just the tuning thing… o thanks guys for all ur feed… o and il definatly have pics up this weekend once my downpipe flange comes in…
xenocron- will chip your ecu, burn you a basemap. this basemap will only serve as a temp fix. you should not boost on a basemap, until you tune it with a wideband.
the aem is a stand alone unit.
