It’s actually not Horizon Grey… The car was painted by Maaco before I purchased it. Although very close, this has more of a blue hue, whereas Horizon Grey is more purple.
Sadly, I have no idea what it comes from. I just had the paint shop match it prior to stripping the car.

So the show had an awesome turnout… Over a thousand cars, multiple different catering vendors showed up… Multiple race and car-based vendors… All in all, it was good times… Besides the fact that I left the SLR at home

Is that stubby antenna specifically for the DA? I have been looking for one and cant seem to find any that look right.

I need one if thats true, all ones I find sit all cockeyed and look ridiculous. Been thinking of trying to get a roof mounted jetta antenna on there but dunno if it will work.
Also, what kind of spacers do you have on that thing?
Thanks man. It was kind of an impulse buy… And I have never really liked the color red much. But the black seats don’t really appeal to me, either… And I’m getting mixed opinions on the red seats with my exterior color scheme. I think it will look good. We’ll see!
The antenna is not a Honda S2000 unit. You have to cut and reshape the OEM setup to fit our cars.

Those are the guys I got my antenna from… It’s the Shark Attack 2. I bolted it on, as is, straight out of the package.
Like the S2k antenna, this is designed to be angled backwards. When you place it on the car, not only does it angle back, it also points WAY out, left. This is because the body of the car is angled where the antenna sits.
All I did was see what other directions I could mount it… It points perfectly up and down. It’s all in positioning. When I get home I’ll see if I can find more detailed pictures of it.

Those are the best pictures I could find that show the antenna… As I said, you can see how it would sit if I installed it in the the way it was designed… it would stick out badly. But turn it a certain way and it sits almost perfect.

Like I always say. While it pains me to see you wanting to part with it I would buy this off you in a heart beat and love and cherish it. I wouldn’t change a thing on this car, maybe throw the souls on from time to time. GSR has been devcon’d and is almost ready so I can sell the white one any time.

A local buddy of mine hooked me up with a cabin-carpet last year. With new seats coming, I wanted the carpet to look nice and fresh… What better way than some deep black dye?
Before you freak out and lecture, I’ve done my homework and have seen awesome results with this product. As long as its done right it will come out great, and last a LOT longer than aerosol (crappy) fabric dye.
I’ll probably be doing this come Tuesday, and of course, I’ll keep you folks up to date.
