Hi all,normally VTEC engine will become more loudest sound when VTEC engage,right?But,why i never feel my 1st gen B16A have this before ya???

–head ported
–1st gen B16A TB bore to max
–customize 4-2-1 header with 2" piping with 2 resonator and rsr gt2 exhaust
–air intake resonator box and pipe opened
–2nd gen B16A piston
–2nd gen B16A cam
–B16B oil pressure pump
–pr3 ecu with mugen chip(vtec start engage 4500rpm)

It could be due to your exhaust being so restrictive.

That’s not “loudest vtec” material, but the RS*R sounds beautiful with no rice sound.

you first need to run a 2.5 inch piping to get that machine to breath right, a intake and a set of cams with a aggressive crossover. Something made to keep it street driven worthy is the route to go if you want that aggressive crossover.
