hey wats up guys im new to this site and i own a 92 integra im doing a ls on 100 shot of nos let me know wat u guys think ill post pics of it in a few thanks alot…
:wrong:
Nawwwzzzz
Hey darkdb1 :bigread: This is the forced induction forum, last time i checked forced induction consisted of turbo, superchargers, and nitrous. Aswell as anything else your forcing into your fuel air system like alcohol. I dont have much experience with nos so i cant answer your question, but i just hate it when people are wrong.
actually, this was posted in the MEETS/HANGOUT forum in the first place.
i had to move this into the correct forum. so darkdb1 was correct.
how safe is it to be sprayin 100 shot in a stock LS? do you have stock internals? i mean i dont have 1st hand experience with this but thought it was only safe to run no more than a 35 shot on a good running engine…hmm
55-75 shot bone stock is fine
u gotta watch it
/tune if u can
and check plugs/retard
do a 50 shot and you will be fine, much more and you will probably start damaging things, also your clutch will die alot faster

IN YOUR FACE!!!
The same guy that made this thread has another wrong section thread out… I think he may need some help figuring out what to post where.

well then i didnt know that, im sorry lol.
Yea you better be sorry :squint: .
Just kidding
i have a 93 ls and im runnin a 100 shot with the nitrous express kit and everything is running great (completely stock internals i only have I/H.E)…im runnin a dry shot so i guess it just depends on whether your running dry or wet. Only problem ive had with it so far is piston rings wore out…and about the clutch wearin out…if its oem…it will slip like CRAZY!!! trust me i know…im usin an Ebay stage 3 clutch and grabs beautifully
100 shot on an ls
hey wats up guys im kinda new here and i own an 92 integra fully built ls with 11:1 compression with a gsr fuel pump i wanna do 100 shot but idk if it would be ok. and what clutch should i get i have a brand new oem clutch now…thanks.
Wet or dry, what kind of timing, fuel management, fogger, direct port… There are lots of factors.
With that compression I’d say retard your ignition 2* and run a 50 shot at the most… Somebody else chime in please.
^^agreed^^
And fully built?
Is it built to the point where you cant build on it no more?
I always thought about adding nitrous too, but in the long run, it’ll end up more costly than adding other performance parts.
get a wideband and just start with a 50 shot, then go up by 25 hp intervals. before you even consider nitrous make sure you have the car tuned well, when you retard timing for nitrous make sure to retard it the recommended amount + the amount you advanced it when you tuned your car. from there you can play with pills and timing during nitrous to get the most from your spray.
your compression is a bit high without fine tuning fuel management. Your best bet is to stick to N/A and get the upgrades from there, ITBs and a good header.
Or just throw a 75 dry shot on there and learn the hard way.
Go to cnc-motorsports.com and look at their forged piston and rod deals. Then get a block guard. Then you can run 11 to 13 points of compression. Then start with a 150 shot.
But there’s only one thing though. You have to know what you’re doing. I just gave you a list of the internals necessary to handle huge shots of nitrous, but you need to learn about ignition, maintaining the right fuel pressure throughout the rpm range, etc.
There’s soooo many tricks out there that can save your motor. With forged internals, 150hp worth of well proportioned nitrous/fuel, is a joke. There’s people (honda-tech) out there running 300+ hp shots, but they know what there doing.
