hey wats up guys. i got a 92 integra which made 300 hp on 15 psi…my setup was ebay kit…now i got a bigger and better kit…my mods are semi port and polished head cut valves, je pistons and eagle rods, 550cc rcs, blox fpr, and ecu tuned on chrome… now i wna do lsvtec…i have a b16 head and my block is 99 ls. wat do u guys think i will make for hp and wat will my compression be …
OK, in the future, nobody can help you out if you don’t post specs. it’s hard to say. you can make a 1000HP and you’ll have 13:1 compression if you don’t have any specs. for example… JE 9:1 84mm pistons, eagle rods, GT35R turbo, Tial 44mm wastegate…etc…etc…
im keeping everything the same besided the head…i have a xspower turbo with the blox manifold 44mm xs power wastegate and the je’s are 9 to 1…should i gain a couple more horsey wit the b16 head
whats the specs on the turbo? 15psi and only 300whp:umno:

block…sleeved or not sleeved
head…which one B16, GSR, Type R
port and polished?
valves, valvetrain?
pistons…compression/bore
rods
bearings
turbo size!!!
fuel management
injector size
etc…etc…
you leave us with nothing. otherwise quit asking and use the search button up top. like I said…this is a waste!!!

if ur only makin 300 at 15psi u should definately think about checking the engine for problems. ive heard of people making that much at 11 and 12 psi on fully factory motors.
i had a lil crack internally…that was 15psi at 300hp wit a cracked cyclinder wall which meant i had a blown head gasket also. and i was on a junk 50 trim ebay turbo…im doing ls/vtec this weekend at 12pounds after i break it in hopefully i put down at least 350

thats completely false. it all depends on what setup and turbo your running. a gt25 wont make 300hp at 11 psi. a gt40 however…
50 trim turbo on 15 psi 300hp wit a cracked sleeve* and a popped headgasket. No need for bullshit…i should have had more hp…
pistons were fine…i didnt have the car tuned for a week so im guess the detenation is wat caused the block to crack…
yea ur right on that, but a lot of the ebay kits come with a t3/t4 style turbo. not a garret t25. generally the t3/t4 are at least near a 50 trim even on the ebay kits. so yes the fact that he was only making 300hp on a t3/t4 turbo at 15psi should have had red flags all over it. again, i have seen a g2i make 290+ on 11psi with a 57 trim. all the kits i saw on ebay, and yes i did go look before saying this, had 57trim turbo’s. so yes they might not be high quality kits, but ur numbers will not suffer that much.
oh and just so you dont have to look to hard to see why i went to the ebay kits, thats because thats what he said he was running. my previous statement was based on that knowledge to start with.
good man, own up to it lol. yes indeed a 50 trim should make more than that at 15. would deffinately have a good basemap at the very least before you start driving it regularly.
yea this was my first dyno tune …everything is straight now …im on a 3 bar map and now tuned for 15 on the new block
