save your self time and trouble… either find a GSR cable tranny or go get the LSVTEC put together and try and find GSR tranny. BTW the h22 will NOT work with the b series tranny.

Its all about $$$$ You got the money go h22 if you on a budget go ls/vetc…

HAHAHA a budget is a LS-vtec? Rrriiight… Tell that to me when I’ve got 4 grand into my Ls-vtec, parts and labor all together.

As for the original poster, and H22 has been done, but not without ALOT of hassel, cutting welding custom motor mounts, etc…
IMO, a new B16a compete engine is the cheapest way to go. Nippon motors, has B16a engine only, for $595.00.

forget all that, Keep your LS turbo the biatch and get a b16 cable tranny or the gsr cable tranny. if you dont want turbo, get a b18c1…good platform to work on…IMO

take your car to www.prostreetimport.com and theyll put an h22 in for 5 grand. You drive your car in, had eugene 5 grand, drive home with your h22 in it. Easy as that.

Get a b18c1 and you will be very happy.

Put an h22 in your car and be happier!!!

put a 347 block in there…

just jokin

But seriously, go with a regular b-series swap.

Yeah! and while you’re at it, throw in both a K20A AND an H22a motor in there, one in the front, and one in the back to drive the rear wheels! And then add 2 jackson superchargers, two 200 shot NOS, and two 30psi T3 turbos on both engines!

And then go date Britney Spears. :bs: :jerkoff:

whoa…

Integra Integra LS 1990-93 $ 5500 for a JDM b18c5

redline: 8,900…

and then this:

http://www.modacar.com/products/Acura/Integra/JDMUP/

$5900 for the engine alone, the other one includes installation.

b16 head or b18?

ok. the lsvtec would be a better decision for me i guess…but should i go with a b16a head or a gsr head?

i just swapped a h22 in my gen2 teg with lsd lude tranny , cable to hydro conversion , and all that for 3800$ canadian , u guys in the states are way over charged

I did my ls vtec for 5 hundred. And you spent 4g. Rrriiight back to you buddy. I think he whats stock ls vtec or stock h22. So your saying a h22 is cheaper…

$500 for your LS-vtec? What did you change? Only the head? Did you use all used parts? What’s your parts list? Are you using LS Pr4 pistons? Did you rebuild your block? What kind of work did youy have done? How many miles do you have on your block?
(Either you have killer hook-ups, or stole your car parts, or built everything yourself, 500 seems outragously low.)

With only $500 put into it, I’d be more worried about reving even to 7 grand, and the engine’s reliability, than basking in the glory of how frugal I was on the parts build.

my two cents.

Oh yeah posjr, :wtf: is a “stock lsvtec?”

Uuuhhh…rrriiight.

So did you get this stock ls/vtec from the dealer?

I never knew there was such a thing.

You guys know what i’m saying. I did it all my self its not hard if you got the tools. I did a 98 ls bottom end with 40,000 miles on it with a b16 head used of course. ok i lied i spent like 600 for every thing now that i add it up. Stock valve train pistons ect. A starting point you can say. Had the head check out from a friend, head was perfect. I just picked up a complete turbo kit for 1100 with timer intrcooler gauges pod for the gauges t3t4 complete. So yes you can say i got some hookups and no nothing is stolen from what i know. You guys just like taking your car to the shop so they can rep you off and take your money. F%@$ that. I saved hella money. I justed picked up some new itr pistons new with rings for 200. Of coures i’m going to put them on myself.

jdmtegnine1 Sorry bro… Hope this helps you out a little. Do alot of oline homework and you will find some good deals. If you lived in the bay i have a friend selling a rebuilt ls vtec complete for 600 straight drop in for your teg. With paper work. But i say go ls vtec more fun to play with. Try doing the swap your self its easy but like i said do your homework…

(I’m just messing with you posjr. So you’ve got a friend selling a built LSvtec complete engine for $600? Contact info?)

If you really wont one email me and i’ll get more info. He has alot of them. Pstevens@skylinecomputer.com
