Who makes a manifold for a DSM 14b turbo.? Anyone, or would that have to be a custom job? And does the 14b have an internal wastegate and if so, is it adjustable?
Thanks in advance.

dunno. probably. yes. no.
i believe you can use just a good ol turbo manifold, then weld a flange on there for the 14b…
Ok to reitterate the question does anybody know what Exhaust manifold will work with a 14B and a B18C:repost:
The dropshop can make you one, or you can make yourself one, but I hear that the dropshop is having some problems right now, I’d probably check into that. I’ll give you some more info when I have more time, slicks.
Thanks how much do they run usually. What books on turbo’s would you suggest.
“Maximum Boost” by Corky Bell
“Turbochargers” by Hugh MacInnes
and I also have “Turbomania” by Bob Tomlinson; but that is all about turbocharging VW Air-cooled engines.
Turbo books are like math books, they all basically say the same thing. Some go into more detail about one part, while another will into greater detail about another part (The first two are great to have together for this very reason). It is also good to hear the same thing a couple of different times, especially when it’s worded differently.
For what you are looking for slicks, I would first do a search on www.honda-tech.com about the manifold. You will find more than you were looking for, including threads about making your own manifolds (and I don’t mean out of a DC Sports header:roll:)
Then go to www.homemadeturbo.com and they are one of the originators of the adapter plates for putting DSM turbos onto Garret ready manifolds. They have a forum as well that is really informative and you can learn a lot from it. Good luck and get to reading. At last, someone who doesn’t have their head up their ass is asking specific relavent questions.
Ive been to Honda-tech.com thats a great site. I also have been to Homemadeturbo.com which both of those sites are bookmarked and I frequent them often but the books will come in handy while I’m at work passing the time. Good looking out though. :gotpics:
for those of you using the stock downpipe, does it clear the a/c if mounted dead center of the manifold?
What do you mean “dead center of the manifold?”
did anyone put a 14b into their integra? what manifold did you use or is this a custom manifold-used to fit the circular fitting from dsm turbo

how most of the time they mount the flange in the horizontal center of the manifold. if not, ill have to offset it to the left, but then i wonder if the compressor (i have the dsm adapter to that too) will hit the block…
