I was reading on the net, and supposedly the internal wastegate needs a restrictor between the wastegate and manual boost controller. I don’t understand the point of the restrictor, is it supposed to be blocked off, or open to the atmosphere. If it was closed, then it wouldn’t really do anything. Also i don’t really understand why it is needed for the internal wastegate. Shouldn’t it be the same for the external. Any help is appreciated, thanks guys
I’ve never heard of this, but then again…I’m not knowledgeable on turbo’d G2’s…only Civics. We had a manual boost controller and it was total crap. We just ended up buying our AVC-R and it works great.
