Well when I first got my DA i was gathering turbo parts. I was a dummy and traded those parts for a K series, then I realized that was too expensive to tackle the swap. I got rid of the K and now I am wanting to do an all motor LS, yes I know sorta pointless but I like to be different, and would also like to see what I can pull out of a built non-vtec. I have Stage 2 Bullfrog Cams in my motor at the moment if i can find a turbo kit cheap then i will go that route. I really want to put Crower 404’s in my motor so I can have that sexy sounding lope.

The funny thing about that is all I’ve ever owned is DAs (on my 6th one now, hahaha). This Prelude I’m working on is for a buddy. 87 body with an F22b1 and H23 trans :), should hopefully be done in the next couple of weeks!

Oh no!! :[ K swap costs soo much more. boo!! We did a k series swap k20/k24 in my ex’s DC and that costed way more than any of us expected. Its a really fun car to drive though. But my teggys more fun to drive haha. But if you get all the funds to do the k swap and turbo it. ohhhhh man…hahah I love the sound of the cams loby sound haha. Mine just got way lobyer (if thats a word) after this last build. LOVE IT!

Oh for sure! I can’t wait until warmer weather. I found a type rlsd on craigs list the other night. I wanted to get it real bad. But I think when I get one it’ll be a performance one and not a stock one.
it has crower stage 2 272 cams, throttle body and intake manifold. Thats about it. The biggest part is going with e85. That changes alot.

the lower compression ratio of the B20s allows for safe boosting. the bore is only 3mm less (84 vs 81). that makes the actual thickness of the sleeve material just 1.5mm thinner than LS sleeves. when theyre 20mm thick already, i doubt 1.5mm would be an issue, you neve know though. (thats also assuming that B20 sleeves are just LS sleeves with a larger bore, and not a totally new part with the same thickness walls, ive never measured them personally so…)
