You never know it could of been stripped and repainted and put back together with new trim pieces. That is a god awful price, but the car is nice.

Too bad it’s a 91. But it is very clean. I can definitely see an immaculate condition 92-93 fetch that price - color and trim level dependent of course. Maybe not with the economy right now and maybe not easily or often but I think there’s a growing number of people out there willing to pay for MINT older Hondas.

It’s personal preference really, but for me the advantages of the 92-93’s are such that I wouldn’t buy a 90-91 again. I originally had a 91 and over the years ended up converting everything to 92-93 spec (or as close as possible).
- OBD1
- better bumpers
- better taillights
- painted mirrors
- better gauge cluster
- better taillights
- better interior
- better paint colors
Obviously they are all subjective things, but in my mind there isn’t a single thing that the 90-91’s have that is better than the 92-93’s but there are many things that are worse.
Forgive me if I am wrong, but arent the 90/91’s around 50lbs lighter?
I agree the bumpers are nicer, as are the colors, but all the more reason to Have a 90/91 and convert it. At least its lighter!
if they are lighter then 91s are better. i only owned 1 da and it was a 91 gs and i loved it. i prefer 91s. buying another one. still a very clean da for a crazy price. you can probably find a clean shell for cheap and put a newer motor in it for cheaper than that.
92-93 has 10 more Hp, and it looks better in my opinion.
I’ve owned a few 93 db1’s and always hated the front bumper. I felt it lacked character so i went a brought a 91
i like using my '91 bumpers lower vents as brake ducts. cant do that with a 92-93 bumper without having two visible ducts at the corners. with my 91 the vents are mounted to the lower holes. the path they follow on the 91 bumper is also a lot less congested then trying to get the duct over more towards the middle.
ive found that intercoolers are a little more easily hidden behind 90-91 bumpers
but thats cosmetics, OBD1 is def a strong point.
my 92 gsr now has a 90-91 front on it… id never go back… better lip options (if you can find them) better places for brake/intake ducts.
Beautiful friggin car though. Man I’d love to have that. But seriously i would pay like 4 or 5 grand tops.
