i am boosting my 91 integra , i noticed that my map sensor is more twords the frie wall , would i need a missing link?
i’m pretty sure you need one regardless. i have a Synapse Missing Link for 90-93 integras for sale for $30 shipped if you need one. lmk
yes you will need a missing link if you are going to run on your stock ecu. if you get a chipped ecu for your setup or take it to your tuner then you will not need it. if you cant get ahold of a missing link you can run 3 check valves inline with your map sensors vacuum source.
If you’re gonna rock an FMU than you’ll need the missing link or check valves found at pet stores. While you’re at it look around for another motor cause that FMU is only going to blow your shit up.
It is cheaper and smarter to just chip your existing ECU. There are plenty of people who offer the service, like Xenocron (g2ic sponsor).

See, your probably thinking of saving a buck or two, but in the end, you spend more for the missing link and the new fmu itself. Not to mention, you risk leaning your motor out. Not a good thing!
I wasn’t the foced induction moderator on HMT for nothing. Do the right thing and run a chipped ECU. Us honda drivers are blessed with a complete open source code ECU. Nissan and toyota people are purely jealous. Do the right thing.
