Modding for Fuel Economy

ever looked into hydrogen assistance for the engine? apparently you can achieve 50mpg more by adding hydrogen to your intake. much like a nitrous fogger system.

no no no, all we need to do is inflate our tires and get tune ups.

i was being serious.

btw, i raised my tire pressure from 28psi to 40psi and since then i’ve dropped about 2mpg. kinda gay.

Well, after driving like an old person, my usual driving habits and like a punk, here’s my results.

Shifting below 3k, coasting, no faster than 55 - 29.6mpg
Shifting at 3k-3.2k, some coasting, cruising from 60 to 70 - 28.5mpg
Shifting at 4 to 5k, aggressive accelerating, cruising at 70 - 27.2 mpg

Now, I’m REALLY surprised at this. I can drive like a complete ass and that B18 won’t punish me at the pump hardly at all.

Now, I really want to rebuild my motor to get some quality miles out of this car and once I get my EG road ready, I will. This will always be my daily so I want it to last.
