if I put the 8k pill in my MSD 6 BTM and my stock rev limiter is at 7k (?) will I hit the 7k or the 8k? as of now I don’t hit the 8k
What engine/ECU are you runnin?
The MSD revlimter does not over ride the OE limiter. You’ll hit which ever is set lower. It’s best to set the MSD limiter lower than the OE limter, this way the MSD limiter is the one used. The MSD limiter cuts the spark, the OE limiter cuts the fuel. It’s better for the motor to cut the spark.
I’m using my stock ecu on my 90 ls. I want to rev to 8k but the stock setting I always hit, I was just wondering, I might have done something wrong. also I pull the tach signal from the msd box and it reads diffrent from the stock tach. How much of a diffrence or any should there be? thanks again for all the help
