i love that exhaust/axleback…how much did that run you? i’m sitting here hoping the security you have on that car, not only alarm, is on the one. i hate to read the dreaded thread on this being taken, real shit. i’m in love w/ this white on white
It is a Bozal, ordered from Autozone. They quoted me $139 so i told them advance had it for less…got it for $115. Paid $65 for the tips from honda…with discount
I don’t let the car out of my sight and it mainly lives in my garage. Alarm/kill switch etc coming soon.
i’m in love w/ this white on white
Me too
thats dope lol…FYI…if you hit up google and type in advance auto parts coupons…you probably could have got it cheaper than that…i’m going to look into that though
Installed the new muffler/tips. Quite easy to do but had to cut the bolt springs to get the freakin bolt to thread.
Next up…wire foggies to come on alone.
damn that makes me wanna ditch my ebay axleback and do that…i love the stock look
can you post pics of the muffler installed? i’m really liking the stock look.
i guess pic 44 isnt a pic of it installed…
LOL, what he said…
Rewired fogs, did the DIY where you run a wire from the red/yellow on the switch directly to the fuse block.
how difficult would you say that is to wire it that way?
on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the hardest…a 2. Here is the link I used:
are you cutting that red/yellow wire to run to the fuse box or just tapping into that red/yellow wire w/ another wire and running that other wire to the fuse box? i maybe making it more difficult than it has to be, but i rather ask than burn down the car lol
Holy hell that muffler is fresh. I’m looking for some stock looking dual tips for my exhaust. I have the GReddy SP2. I love the exhaust, and everything about it. Except the big tip. Just seems a bit much for my taste.
Car is coming along nicely. Love the keychain in the last pic
Pretty much running the red/yellow fog light wire into one of the defroster wires. Gotta take out the bezel to pop the buttons out to access the wires.
Db2 is looking good I must add. Keep it up !
he didnt tap his into the defroster, he ran his into the fuse box, which in essence leaves the fog light switch solely for the fogs and not tapped into anything else. i may wait to do this until i get my fogs from ebay and run all the wires into one into that fuse box
I cut the red/yellow wire, put a but connector and electrical tape on the end of the wire not used. I soldered my own wire to the red/yellow coming out of the harness/plug then put heat shrink, ran my added wire down to the fuse box crimped a female connector onto it and just plugged into the middle of the 3 empty spots. You can use butt connectors with electrical tape too. The link shows how to do it
So I figured out my “running rich” and idle stutter problem…I put all new vacuum and coolant hoses on but some was bulk hose from Advance Auto and not Honda. The link i ran from the map sensor to the IM was too loose. I put the right hose on and bingo! Running REALLY nice now.
Putting on ATE Ceramic pads on to try and cut down on the black brake dust that gets on my nice WHITE rims after one time braking.
Forgot to mention that I put a fuse block with a 20 fuse in the wire i ran to the fuse block. You can get them cheap at any parts place. Here is a pic of what I am talking about for the fuse thing and a diagram I made real quick… hope this helps
Key has to be in “on” position for the fogs to come on
that diagram is the shit and helped me not ask another dumb ass question lol, i was about to ask were you running from the red/yellow from the switch or the red/yellow, that i imagined came from teh fogs. diagram shows from the switch…awesome…probably the best way to run/best visual. preciate it man. when i order my ambers and fogs and get read to do all my front lights i’ll get that fuse block.
purpose of the fuse block is to prevent bulb from blowing from being overpowered isnt it? (newb to electrical)
yes sir Cool think too is when you cut the car off the lights won’t stay on…Took like 15min
dope thanks man…makes sense to me now.
