MY Car, MY Turbo

I was also wondering what kind of manifold you were using ? i had the same turbo on my old ef civic hatch with d18y8. i used a exhaust manifold off of a crx with a custom adapter plate. i was boosting about 6 lbs. that lasted about 2 years. sold the car due to front end damage

the manifold is from one of the guys here on g2ic but it was a t25 turbo manifold that i custom made a 2" by 2" flang and made a custom gasket. wokred awsome… this turbo works good, i know it’s not big but, quick spool and it doesnt tap out at 6500 rpm so thumbs up on that. it’s just alot of custom work, man,m keep in touch, i wanna know how it goes out of you if you have msn add me the_polish_man at hot mail dot com

What’s the specs of that turbo? Also, at what rpm did full boost kick in?

at full boost im at about 2750rpm.the turbo specs i have no idea about

i know the turbo is a IHI RHB52 KW VJ-11 so… hope this helps…

I have my C/p all hooked up and i LOVE IT!, im offically fully boosted without a problem

seriously i can go on about a few ways the best way is w/e works for you… just go to the turbo guide on this web site and rear i carefully, make sure you dont get one part # or letter wrong or dont miss one b/c they will come with diffrent threads…

do u have any problems with overheating?

can u fit the factory radiator just loose the thermo fan with the turbo kit…

i dont have any problems with over heating
even if im in boost for most of the time with me beating on it in 30+C weather, and im pretty sure i could of uced the full rad but hey… i got a new one for 50 bucks so i figured what the hell, ALSO im going to use a push fan. i think im going to RE-do my charge piping, b/c ever couple weeks it comes off the turbo and im going to try one more thing, but it’s been pretty reliable and i just did a long trip with it and i get about 650KM out of a tank highway only going 120 @ 3500 rpm so :rockon: anywyas im going to get the body work done wile im in europe for 3 weeks so ill post some new pics but until then, im going to post up some pics of my engine bay more cleaned up wityh my buddy’s GS-R

ive got a bodykit a bw style aswell to put on…

ive got the buick intercooler off ebay to keep my a/c and hopefully my factory radiator now… i was just curious because of the heat of these ive been told they dont usually mind the heat

this ones bigger then mine i think 18 inch is heaps long enough for these… posible perfect any longer and i dont know if itll fit and may look dicky…

Yea so i was on the highways and i decided to pass someone, so i got in the left lane and gaver to pass went from 7 psi to BAM! 10 inches of vac, i was like WTF!!! pulled off the highways, and checked it out, no boost bov isnt opening NOTHING shut the car off, and checked to see if my turbo turns…nope… siezed… wont turn at all! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so im putting one in on Tuesday.

But i do have a question?.. Even tho my turbo is siezed you think it would be okay to drive still or should i not?..
