My first car, .. the GS-R!

Hey, my name is Geoff and this is my first car, a 92’ GS-R, i bought it for a $1,000 CDM, and put $1,999.60 into for a safety and etest, it needed a few things lets say  … still needs some body work, and paint, but here is some pics of it so far…

Previous owner painted the spark plug cover yellow, not a big fan of it, lol

Pretty high km’s,

This exhaust performs quite well, but doesnt sound that great, 2.25" Custom bent stainless steel exhaust,

Very nice find - I’m jealous!

oh man goodluck… you shal need it

definatly a lucky find on my part, lol

 looks like it’s going to be a fun project. i hope your plans are to get rid of all that red trim in the interior.

you have no idea, me and my dad have been bitching about that since i got it, we were just going to paint it black, but im going to be co-oping at a auto wrecker, and i remember them having a 2nd gen integra there, so if the interior colour is the same, im just going to snag that and put it in, so it looks nice and, original again!

good find, jus needs alil tlc…

mmmmmm black gsr. yummy.

My car has a GS truck on it too. I just took the brake light off.

Looks alright, nice to see more Ontario peeps.

Yes it has been replaced, and he never wired it up, the rear wiper doesn’t work :[

Where abouts in Ontario are you? im in Chatham, (basically between Windsor and London)

Good start! I personally don’t like the tint on the corner lenses or the tails.

Nice!

I really want a GSR to do some minor bolt on mods to and just to have a fun car. Remember, you know own the most rare Honda produced. Especially having a Canadian one…get 'er shining!

Trust me i don’t either, i plan on swapping those out too, and there not tinted, the spray panted… lol even dumber!..

I know, I was happy when i found this, i knew i had to have it :stuck_out_tongue: and so far its just bolt-ons (intake and cat-back, and possibly getting a header for it from previous owners brother…) and its moves pretty good now… (previous owner had it up to 220 or so? i thought it was pretty quick, for being short geared… lol)

finally hit the junk yard and got that red outta the interior! and installed a B-pillar bar (suppose to be a C-pillar, but couldn’t get it to work with the seatbelts, but was fine with the seatbelts on the B-pillar) … will have some new pics of it soon,

I’m in North York.
I usually surf jdmrides.ca as it’s local.

what a great, first car:rockon:

Were the stock bolts not long enough? I bought some new, longer ones and it worked ok.

ya they weren’t long enough, even after i made the bracket holes slightly larger so that the bolts would sit in it a bit farther, i was going to just buy longer bolts but then i thought hmm, i wonder if it would fit the b-pillar, and it did! i will probably get some longer bolts and then put it back on the c-pillar…

Couldn’t agree more
