well at least let us see this b pillar bar lol
You will have to wait until friday! thats when i can get some pics and i’ll take some pics of my newly painted spark plug cover! (its not yellow anymore!) and i tried cleaning up the tails, well one of them so far, and will be cleaning up the corners, or just waiting and buying some amber ones…
Alright, well i grabbed some picks for ya (the interior looks kinda weird at night with the flash on, so don’t mind that, all i’ve done since was replace the gauge trim, and glove box, put in the b-pillar (suppose to be a c-pillar), put in the rear strut bar, painted the spark plug cover back to silver (instead of yellow!), also cleaned up the tail lights (removed the spray paint… that took a while, lol… and had to replace 2x 1157 bulbs and 2 168’s… lol) and did the fog light mod (they look kinda yellow, but they are just old bulbs :P)
Here is the fog light mod:
Here is the spark plug cover that i painted, everyone and I agree it looks MUCH better than yellow! lol, (paint turned out alright!) also i will be replacing the yellow hose with a black one… just to “un rice” the engine bay a bit… also i will be painting the valve cover soonish i hope… lol
Here are pics of the new trim from the junk yard
Pics of the b-pillar bar, let me know what you think… i think im going to take it out, but give me your opinion first!
Also, the rear strut bar i put in, nice touch to the trunk i think
And heres the taillights, not great, but much better than before i think… still a tiny bit of touching up to do, but now fully functional…
So, let me know what you guys think so far!
The bar looks like it gets even more in the way than the c pillar just get some longer bolts from Home Depot…that’s what I did
Your interior is super clean
I fucking hate those ugly ass tail lights
they used to be painted, and i really didn’t like it, but this will have to do for now.
and yes, i think the interior and one of the things that didn’t get fucked up by previous owner (besides that stupid red trim he had in there), but i still need to vaccum the the floors a bit, and possibly shampoo them (just so there nice and clean)
ya, i think im just going to take the bar out and wait until i get longer bolts, but honestly its not that hard to get to the back seat, like im 6’ 3" and i can get back there without complication, and as for the front seats, thats with them all the way back.
No other comments? i mainly need another opinion on that bar, like its not much in the way, but keep it or get rid of it? (and put it on the c-pillar, or just leave it out…)
I’d get rid of that bar. Cause if you happen to get into an accident and the seats give out, it’s going to fuck you up.
ya, true… im going to take it out, lol
Bought a header for the car, off the previous owners brother (which owned this car aswell, he has a GS-R now, the only other one in town!) 80 bucks, heat wrapped, came with a brand new Maxx Performance gasket… i don’t know the brand of it, but looks pretty solid! (doesn’t look ebayed) ill try and get pics, but for now, waiting for nicer weather to get it on!
Looking good man, I stand behind the others, get that bar out of there.
it is dont worry! … i do like the look of a fully stock GS-R interior;)
just bought some 2500k hyper yellow 70w Nokya H3’s, nice match with the silverstars!
edit: Just got them in! and all i can say is damn!
also looks like i have to drill out the header for the o2 sensor :\
also just pulled the suspension from a friends eg hatchs parts car, tokico blues with fk automotive springs… hopefully they work out alright, want to get them in this week… will post pictures after!
about that b pillar bar, it would defently make me wear my seat belt in the back, lol, other wise that would take a guy’s head off. hahaha. looks alright IMO, but a bit dangerous i guess. if you were to gut the back interior, then i would keep it on there.
You need EG or DC forks to use EG or DC shocks.

you’re not going to run that ecu are you? you should load a basemap to the chip and actually tune it to your setup. vtec shoudl be set according to a dyno readout indicating it’s optimal spot.
