I have already plugged it in, since a previous friend had no problems running it? idk… havn’t got the “test” the car with it yet, just let it idle so far… G2 at the end of the month… then the trouble begins

VTEC that low is pointless on a stock motor.
And no rev limiter, well, the factory put a rev limiter in for a reason.
ii think it has a rev limiter, just its so high my friends “beaten” d16z6 couldn’t hit it, but i get what you mean…
It’s not completely useless. It’s just not programmed for your setup. Running it like that is most assuredly wrong. What needs to happen is you need the car tuned and a program burned to that chip that is optimized for your car. basically you need to get it tuned. Vtec again, needs to be set according to a dyno readout. Same goes for revline and revlimint.
Wait, your friend ran the chip on a D16 and you want to run it on a B17? Don’t do it.

he didn’t get it chiped for a d16… he bought it off a friend that ran it on a b16 and he plugged it into his d16…

you’re fine right now just get it tuned and get a proper program burned to the chip.
that would be a while, as chatham has nobody that does that stuff… we dont even have any dyno’s or anything… best bet might be Windsor or London for me i guess…

Ya man, its been slow… havn’t done to much to the outside, i plan on swaping out the fart pipe for another one i got for free (its new, friend gave it to me and its even got a silencer!) cuz this one has such a raspy rattle… and i plan on putting the header on soon, i really wanna get moving on body work this summer, and ill just get my dad to paint it… it’ll be dirty, but better than the flat black!.. i could wet sand and buff a lot to try and clean it up (:
