Yeah they are. They were worse when i first got it. I cleaned them once before but yeah i should probably clen them again.
you should sand them. look in the teg tips. It will look pretty damn close to brand new when you get done, if you do it right.
Ok so i’ve been having people tell me acouple different things about my engine. First off the guy I baught it from said it was a b16a2 sir2. The block though only says b16a. This indicates that its a jdm motor. Now some people have been telling me its an sir1 and not an sir2. Although they tell me that
I have reason to believe that it is an sir2. One reason being that the head is marked as a 92. I read on “Honda-tech.com” that if the head reads 89-90 its an sir1 and if it reads 91-93 its an sir2. Another reason is that people have said that sir1 trannys are cable and sir2 trannys are hydro. The one I have is a hydro and I know this cause it has the Hasport cable to hydro kit. I dont know wether my motor is an sir1 or sir2 and it doesnt really matter to me. Just thought I would post about how so many people can be confused about this stuff.

I’m about to start my mild wire tuck. I’m thinking about getting rid of my power steering but I’m not sure yet. I’m never deleting my ac though, it gets way too hot in central texas. I was wondering if I could run my clutch cable under my intake manifold. Ill have new pics up soon

I know there kinda all the same angles, but the sun was in a bad place and my camera has really bad white balance options so i did my best.

Updates : Painted valve cover and moldings, hung a tigger (for fun), lowered it a bit more, and traded my 90-91 tails for a set of 92-93

Yeah sadly enough I did sell it. I got it as a POS, flipped it and then I had to let it go. Wish I could get it back, it had full GSR interior, motor was extra healthy, had some pretty sweet cams. I never bothered to see what kind they were.
where are you getting your asr brace from?
ahh well thats better then it getting wrecked. im getting it from that wek-sos site, its $193 i think and thats the cheapest site i found (for it new). after that gets installed its time for the itr sway bar upgrade

Installed the asr brace yesterday. It was kinda hard to get it on since my car is so low and the way the rsr exhaust hangs it got in the way but it was well worth it. I can tell when I take hard turns the back end doesnt feel as sloppy when coming out of the corner. The steering also feels alittle stiffer going through the turn which I like (might be imagining that though). Now I just need the bigger sway bar to go with it and im set.
