My First DA

Very very nice man I really like a-lot. Now all you need is a 92-93 gsr upper radiator hose to clean up that engine bay because it kinda looks funny IMO . lol But I guess it will do for now but seriously you have a heel of a car man really. Nice work

Thanks. I never noticed the radiator hose before, but yea I see the difference in them.

Here is a newish photo I finally got around to editing

hands down my favorite teg on here.love everything about it.i have a red db2 and i can only dream of the day mine looks like yours.clean bro.

Wow man, Thanks I really appreciate that =] There are soo many clean integras on here I don’t think I could pick a favorite. You’re lucky you’ve got a db2 man, I tried looking for one before I bought this, but everyone was asking way too much for them.

One more from the rear. I’ve also got 2 rig shots if anyone knows how to clone out the rig??? I’m not that good with photoshop yet to do all that.

Really clean teg man! havent been around in a while and I finnaly had a chance to catch up on your thread. looks like all that hard work has paid out:up:

Thanks man. Yea I’m happy with the way it turned out. I’ve still got plans to go turbo, but cash isn’t available yet

Here is that rig shot I was talking about

That last pic is the truth! Sic Bro!

Thanks. I had another friend of mine try to clone out the rig, but he couldn’t do it either. Oh well. He was able to photoshop this for me.

I’m not gonna get these rims or anything, i’ve never really liked them. He was just bored and decided to mess around with one of my pictures. I think he pulled it off pretty well. I am considering powder coating my rims black to match my engine bay, but idk yet

good build thread man, its got a lot of custom touches… is there any chance you could give me insight on how to do the wire tuck?? i dont want to just cut and extend and im not sure on how to approach this… ima pull the motor out to make it easier and to rebuild motor but i would like to know what kind of obstacles/advice/suggestions you could give me since you already did it… ive already removed p/s and abs and ac… so now i just want to tuck main harness, clutch cable, fuel lines, and fuse box… any help would be great.

Thanks man. Um, I didn’t do a real wire tuck like most people would do. I left all my a/c and p/s and stuff like that. I did tuck the main harness underneath the motor, but I didn’t run it up in the fenders like most people do. My fuse box I tucked down where the charcoal canister normally is. I took my charcoal canister out and threw it away. For the wires that lead up to the headlights and turn signals, those are the only ones I had to extend, oh and I extended the wires leading to the wiper motor so I could tuck those down. Like I said I didn’t do a full proper wire tuck. I did it the way I thought was easiest annd it worked out great for me. There are plenty of threads about how to do it

Ok so my friend did this for me. I’ve been thinking about powder coating my rims black, but haven’t really had an idea of what it would look like. What do you guys think? I think it make sit look more aggressive

a tough decision, but i vote on keeping them silver or powder coating them a graphite or dark grey hue

Yea I spent all the money I had for powder coating them on some more camera gear =] I’m just gonna keep them silver

I have to agree also with that, the silver look on your wheels really stand out from the rest besides everyone else has them black or primered or even colored why not be different from every one else, you know. IMO. And to be honest with you I’ve always wanted those rims on my car also (circuit 8’s right ?) but in bronze, now looking at yours makes me wanta have em silver but then again I’m not so sure cause I plan on painting my car milano red with a pearl so I wouldn’t want you to think I was trying to copy you or something.

Yea the silver is cool. I don’t really wanna send a couple hundred dollars to powder coat them now anyway. I wanna go turbo so i’d rather save my money on that. Honestly man you paint your rims and car whatever you want. I wont think nor will I care if anyone has the same colors as me. I personally am not a big fan of the car being red. I bought it and it was red, the paint is fine, I have no reason to change colors. I like it don’t get me wrong. I love the way my car looks, but red isn’t my number one choice of color. And yea those are 16’ circuit 8’s

So I decided to take out my power steering. I didn’t know if I was gonna like it or not so I just took the belt off at first. Only downside to not having it is backing out of my driveway really sucks. Other than that though I actually like it. I took the rest of the stuff out the other day and when I was doing that I realized my driverside motor mount is completely shot. So looks like I’m gonna be ordering a Hasport one soon.
Awhile ago I had mentioned my friend had fabricated a camera stand for me, but I don’t think I ever posted any pictures of it. So here it is. I can adjust it left and right and up and down by loosening those two wing nuts.

Day 19 by Mark_Freeman_Photography, on Flickr

HAHA, that does take a little getting used too. just think of it as a good work out!

^Yeah I’m pretty sure my arms have gotten bigger cause of it lol. It really sucks not to have a passenger seat, no cup holders, and no power steering. I had no place to put my drink the other day and only had one arm to turn the wheel…took me forever to back out of the parking spot.

No really updates, just a few new shots
