when hes say seriusly, he means it. in fact he wont shut up about it
Dustin, seeing these up dates is really inspiring me to get out to the garage today. Keep up the good work and ill get those pads out soon man
just wondering why there’s a gap between the wing and the trunk.
Hey good to see I’m inspiring people! But you’ve been inspiring me with my teg for a long time! Heres some pictures I took today at the DA/EF meet today. Overall had a great time, I didnt take to many pictures though because its sometimes a pain to carry the camera around. But heres the pics.
There where a whole lot more cars that were very nice, I just didnt get around to get photos of them.
Another accomplishment of the teg today was she hit 200,000! Had to pull over on the highway and take a picture.
I’m glad that your repairs on the wing worked out man… As always, looks great!
You know it’s weird it’s just the way I got it. I brought the wing down more by like 1/2 a inch but it’s still high. I might end up fiberglassing the sides to make it sit more flush to the car. But it’s a old wing I didn’t expect it to fit perfectly. Also my carbon fiber trunk sits a tiny bit higher on the corners where the wing mounts.
Hey, is this the same wing style as yours? Or am i going crazy?

No…that is a dc2 type R spoiler
Been really thinking about making a rear diffuser for the teg. It’s been stuck on my mind for a while now. What you guys think?
Please dont do those ugly hole things in the rear bumper, it looks terrible. But knowing your build its probably going to be beautiful.
I have always thought about making one too if my car ever gets finished. I was thinking of a under body one that eliminates drag from the bumper. Thought about fabbing a rear tie bar with flanges with nuts welded to the upper side so I could bolt it on and then bolt or screw it to the bottom of the rear bumper. I was thinking fiberglass. Just stretching some fabric and brushing resin on to harden it. It might be hard to picture what I’m writing but it’s clear in my head;)
That’s the same idea I had as well. I was thinking about using sheet aluminum and having that as the base, then cut 4 pieces out for the sides. Then put them in a break and bend them 90 degrees and pop rivet them on. Then use like 1/4 turn bolts and use those for quick removal of the whole diffuser.
No it won’t be the ugly speed holes but the under body diffuser that goes from the rear subframe to bumper.
Just backtracked a bit…such nice build and car!
That’s it…must find Hiro or Hiro style wing. Looks fantastic.
Thanks jdecks! I love your car as well!!
usdm420 thanks i love the wing best purchase besides the type r
No updates?
Actually got a few updates! Just no pics up yet. I got my crow 5 point harness installed, then I repainted my wing because I had my car cover on and it stretched the paint, I also painted my passenger fender, redid the front lip on my splitter and took it to a big meet up here. I’m thinking I’m gonna take it out today for a photo shoot. Because I rarely drive it anymore.
