Looks better with the decals on bro!
Wells heres some updates from this weekend from the Nisei meet. Everything went great! got home Friday after work and loaded up the teg into the trailer and drove down to LA with my brother and my dad. Stopped and got some rest at a hotel at the outskirts of LA and took off in the morning to the show! Got to the show unloaded the teg in a parking lot and drove her to the line for roll in times
Saw this awesome car! The guy was even cooler to talk with.
Got the car into the show, and started to detail the car before everything started
Everything went really great though had a great time, met tons of great people, made a few friends and talked with a few people that have been reading about the car for a while so it was really cool to meet people who have been following my build and my car. On Sunday I also saw honda tuning used my car on a facebook and instagram post so it was really awesome having that happen. Thanks for reading I will post up a couple updates in the next few days on the car!
Saw the Honda tuning post of your car. Instantly recognized it was you. Thats freaking awesome man!
Well, you know it was an honor to meet up with you at the meet, coming all the way out from Atlanta to California to see your build personally and up close. Definitly was honored to shake your hand and take a pic with you as well. Iāll eventually get up north to see jdeckās build and others here on g2ic that have been taking their time of the 2nd gen(conversation we spoke of during the show). Was very glad all this came out well for you. Good meeting your friend as well.
Big Ben Slay and Teg Youngin finally meet, The new generation with the old gen with a love for the 2nd gen.
I also wanted to share a pic that I took (thread jacking for a minute, but is well needed) of me and Joey Lee. If some of you donāt know who Joey Lee is, he is a free lance photograher and writer of Honda Tuning Magazine. It was a great honor to meet up with him as well as his band, DPK Dave, Ryan (assistant of RyWire in the California area) and RyWire owner himself, Ryan(yes there are 2 Ryans). I canāt remember if I brought it to his attention about your car Teg Youngin, but apparently I didānt need toā¦because your car was featured on Joey Leeās website, sticky dil joe.com also known as āThe Chroniclesā
Joey Lee, RyWire Ryan himself and his assistant Ryan in the back, yours truly, BigBenSlay and DPK Dave.
The Chronicles is a website that Joey Lee blogs on and shares his many adventures in the import community, but mostly about Hondas and Acuras. Love 'em or hate 'em, it is his website and he does vent his frustration about certain things that are out of order and has a hatred towards knock-off wheels. But in this case, it seems as though he took a liking of Younginās build and placed it on his website. So I hope everyone here can take a visit to http://stickydiljoe.com/ and check out Joeyās compliment of Teg Younginās achievement.
Thanks againā¦and with such a name as Teg "Young"in, I definitly feel like Iām too old to be in the G2 scene, as I turn 40 years old this year!
Hey Ben it was great meeting you as well at Nisei! It was nice talking to someone that really appreciates the 2nd gen integra as much as I do! Hopefully one day we will meet at a show again!
In other news I was on Honda Tunings website and the teg was ranked one of the top 5 builds at the Nisei showoff! I feel absolutely honored to get that and its very big milestone for me and the teg since I didnt think it would ever be the car I hoped and dreamed it would! Thanks to everyone on G2IC for all the help and support with questions, and picking up parts off you too. Heres a link for it!

CanDigIt.
Just amazingā¦
Great job. Love the last photo. I wonder how a optional rear lip would look on your car. It seems like its lacking something in the lower rear section.
I would love to run the optional rear lip. Just have to find a 90 rear bumper to get painted and find a lip. Definitely on the list to do
Quick question for everyone that stores their teg in the garage, what is the best car cover to use? Iāve been looking at the cotton flannel covers they seem a bit pricey at 220 but Iām sure itās worth it. Anyone else use another kind of cover that doesnt scratch the car?
I have an OEM optional rear lip I was holding on that I will sell. Let me know. Great job on the build.
Just saw a post of your engine bay on the Acura integra page on Facebook lol
Car came out great! Any plans for a trackday?
Definitely go with a flannel-lined cover. Soooo worth it imo. Especially with a new paint job.
My cover isnāt linedā¦ It doesnāt really scratch the car, but if it had much movement (wind, etc) it probably would. I plan to get a couple flannel sheets and sew them inside it to help.
We deal with a ton of boats and the ones that stay the cleanest and least beat up are the ones with covers lined in flannel. Albeit wind plays a huge factor in that, the point still stands.

Just ordered my car cover should be here this week! tired of dust and stuff settling on the car. Makes me go crazy! Yeah its flannel and cotton together. Should be really nice, definitely pricey but the price of the paint job is more expensive.
Little update! Went online and found a great car detailing site called chemicalguys. They have some great stuff there. I ordered some carnuba wax, a quick detailer some microfibers and a drying micro fiber. Some great stuff so I went ahead and tried the stuff out and the car looks great!
Also bought a licence plate frame fromt the Chronicles to replace my Weksos one, I like it more.
After the wash and wax!
I want to see this thing in person so bad! I am never in cali for anything.
And while I think about it, we need to find a way to make g2ic plate frames.
Ricebucketā¦
Hey Teg Youngin, any plans to make those x bars? Iām interested in the one to keep the rear seats.
Sorry to thread jack, I have the same swap, how did you get rid of code 9?
Any updates dustin?
besides the new car cover!
