Sounds good man
I saw that you are running the clutch conversion from Hasport.
How does the clutch feel with the n3e tranny?
Is it to hard?
So here is some updates for you guys, sorry Ive been MIA for the last couple months, been so busy with my Dually that I am building and with work and everything else in my life. So anyways the Funny Night Vtec meet was coming up and had some prepping to do to the teg to get it all back to its shiny self. Also picked up a special part from DAve which I am pretty proud of! its a Cusco/ safety21 6 point roll cage, It was for a rs so I had to cut down the legs to make it fit and reweld the baseplates to make it correct. So I fabbed up all the pieces for it to fit correct again and got it all painted up in nothing best the best bg22m paint code. I was cutting it extremely close on my timeline to make it to the show. Car had to be loaded by 12 to make it to the show, and at 10 the car had no interior. But I put my head down and just got after it and had it all finished and ready to load up into the trailer.
Now this is where it gets lame, driving up the ramps into the trailer the car dies on me, I assumed it starved out of fuel since the tank was low. Backed down the ramps filled it up with some fuel and tried to start againā¦nothing tried for a bit more and still nothing. I checked all my fuses and electrical stuff, everything was good and in check, couldnt understand why would crank but not start. Well I ended up cranking the car in first gear into the trailer to get it to the show. On the way I stopped at my buddies shop Hybridworks to try to mess with the car to get it to start. We tried two different distributors and two ecus to try to get the car to spark and still nothing, so somewhere in the harness a solder failed. So we headed to the show and decided to just push it in the show. So despite the issues of the car not starting I had a great time hanging out with the hybridworks crew and ended up with winning the best DA category.
That cage looks good!
As much as I dislike āadjustableā strut barsā¦ That Cusco looks great in your bay.
Well thanks Sean! for those who may recognize this username then you know its me. For those who dont this is Dustin I change my username to g2teg2 instead since its a name I use on all my social media accounts and forums, and because teg youngin was a immature name that I had made 6 years ago when I was 17. I decided g2teg2 was more fitting for me and the car since its the license plate for the thing. Anyways I have some updates for you guys coming up for the car once I finish my dually that Iām building.
So Ill talk about the dually for a bit to sow you guys what Iāve been up to. Bought this 94 chevy dually back in October, Ive always loved the body style of these trucks and always have been in love with them since I was a child and my father had one. So I picked this up to daily drive and to haul my car around with.
Then in December I was driving and got T-boned from a driver running a red light, now it may look bad but it was a perfect opportunity to build it into something ive always wanted to own so I went and started the process of bagging and repairing it.
Started the C-notch and the rear frame work. did all the work myself with some help from my brother.
Now thats just the rear frame work obviously but the whole suspension on the truck is finished minus the shocks. Iām working on the bodywork for the cab and bed now and getting very close to driving it again. hope you enjoy something non second gen related. lol
That is very nice!!
Nice work on the truck Dustin. Are those arms painted to match your DA? I didnāt notice that the first time I looked. It does make sense though if itās gonna be your DA hauler.
dustin teg looks nice bro. nice work on the dually
Time for a body drop?
whats your tire and rim spec? really digging it!!
used to have xxr 531 15x8 with 15 +offset and 195 50 tiresā¦ didnāt quite like that set up.
You wouldnt to still be taking the occasional x-bar order would you? Its by far the best chassis brace ive seen for a DA
Hey guys long time no updates, sorry about the lack of photos and updates in the thread. Got some updates Iāve been doing to the teg and will post up some pictures sometime this week along with a few more updates on the car!

The specs are 15x7 +22 front and rear but front has a 5mm spacer to clear my calipers so itās +17
Work on the truck looks great Dustin! I dig the watts link. I know some people have issues with them binding (like on 1st gen rx7s), but probably wonāt be an issue with yours being that the arms are adjustable and youāre not road racing it.
that gm diesel? or gas?
It is a gas guzzling 454, haha
So long time since I have posted any updates or anything on here, and Iām here to update the thread and try to be a better active member. Seems like the last few years the forums (g2ic, hondatech, nwp4life) have been dying out since everyone uses facebook or instagram to post pictures of cars. I know Iām guilty as well using social media for posting updates and progress, but I miss the days of forums being one of the main providers of information to people like us. So Iāll try my best to keep everything current and update.
Anyways alot has been going down since Iāve posted last, went to the Funny Night meet where the DA brought home best DA award! Also prepping and going down south to the Legendary Eibach meet which is always a fun time.
Mostly everything has been the same on the DA for Eibach, but after eibach got some plans and started changing stuff out and replacing parts. Then I started prepping the teg for the Blox Evolution meet. Decided to ditch the wing for the first time in years, and honestly I loved seeing it in a different form. I replaced my 89 integra lip that I have ran on the teg forever.
So i decided to pick up a JDP OE2 carbon fiber lip, since I have always wanted one. Also replaced my carbon fiber wire cover for a Circuit Hero wire cover, and picked up a Mugen formula shift knob
So went to the Blox show and had a great time catching up with friends, and talking with people interested in the integra. Honestly talking with the people who show interest in the car is one of my favorite parts of going to shows. To many times do you see a car you really like and what to know more about it but the owner is nowhere to be found and thatās why I like to hangout around the car to talk to people, answer questions and just get to know people. I feel you can appreciate a car more when you can talk to the owner. Anyways at the end of the show I ended up being award with 2nd Best Acura of the show which is very very awesome in my opinion.
Beautiful pics man. every time i think if i want to get rid of my teg i just read this thread over and over lol.
For the final installment of my updates is Wekfest San Jose. I was lucky enough to be in the show, but it was also very awesome to be able to park in ATSGarageās lineup of killer cars. For the show I added a few little touches, ended up fabricating some custom aluminum inner fenders in the front that I ended up polishing to have a mirror shine. They actually came out pretty good, and look very different from not running inner fenders or the plastic ones. Also I found and bought a matching Bride seat to the one I have now, which will be here around September/ October since it is being shipped from Japan. I also planned on not running the wing for the show, but after some convincing from my friends on Saturday during roll-in and prep I had one of my good buddies pick up the wing from my house and take it down to me so I could run it. The show was amazing like last year and had so many quality cars. Wekfest always blows me away with the wide variety of immaculate cars the have. I honestly wasnāt expecting to win any awards or take home a trophy. This year though I was very fortunate to bring home 3rd Best Acura of the event. Like last year when I was awarded 3rd Best Integra I was blown away that I was able to place an award. My personal opinion is being in Wekfest is an award in itself to be part of, and winning anything is just icing on the cake. But the show itself was very awesome, talking with all the spectators and other car owners in the show as well as catching up with good friends from SoCal.
