feel’s good to be up and running once again! drove it for 5 days straight trying to put mileage on it to make sure everything is running smooth. currently i’m boosting 8psi on my tune from last year. should be hitting the dyno soon with the new engine and turbo. hopefully this thing will make some decent power now!

I have roughly 1150km on the engine now and I’m trying to book a dyno session for this friday. I’m fed up of driving at 8psi it’s boring as hell. Here’s a little video I took so that I could hear how my car sounds. In the video I was shifting at 6500rpm. With some pictures of the incredibly dirty car.

Spent around 2 hours on the dyno today but had to cut it short and leave on the tow truck. My midshaft or axle is messed up I will figure it all out tomorrow when I remove them to check it all out. We stopped at around 13-15psi when the problem started. No idea how much power it was making so far since at that point power was irrelevant.

yeah it’s the blow by. normal stuff. went to mosport this weekend in ontario for the honda-tech 8 meet. axle boot ripped on my way there. then had to drive 500km to get back home. pretty sure i need to rebuild them now. shit never ends.

LOVE the piping!

Made a fan shroud today at my friend’s shop. Wanted one of these for a very long time. Unfortunately the only piece of stainless that we had we scraped. We messed up our measurements somewhere and it was an inch too short and an inch too tall?? Always write down the measurements! Don’t try to do it by memory haha. Any way I’m in the process of painting this one. Not as nice as a stainless piece that would go well with my piping but it does the same job.


Sickness this thing has come a long way. See’ good things happen for those who wait, now why can’t I have as good as luck with mine. That engine is show quality bro ! I love it…

Thanks! I’ve had everything but luck with this car though. Still burns coolant but I don’t know from where. I added a fluorescent dye in the coolant today. Going to go for a drive and start taking parts off one by one until I could detect where the leak is. Right now I’m thinking the intake manifold or the turbo.

Added some heat wrap in my quest to keep things cooler under the hood. Yellow burnt spots on a white hood isn’t cool.

Thanks man. I decided that before I go ahead and spend $300 on a carpet I want to fix all my powertrain issues first. Once the powertrain is working decent then I will continue on other stuff.
