to make things even shittier my friend got his tools stolen in his 240sx which included my jack. so now im jackless. so until i buy a new one i can’t even take the engine out. FML!
shit happens when you have a car as modified as this. eventually i’ll get the perfect recipe for everything and it shall all work perfectly together as one. i’ll be more pissed if it’s a cracked sleeve or something stupid like that. checked the turbo on my lunch break thought maybe that fucker seized with the luck i’ve been having but spins nice and free with no sounds, no shaft play. definitely something internal.

the head is squeaky clean! going to take the oil pan off right now. time to go see what died.
rod bearings destroyed! pics coming soon. there’s metal everywhere in the engine. i found some decent chunks chilling in the head.
so far two rods are damaged and the crank. havnt checked the mains yet.

thats exactly what it looked like in my first LS/V-T build in my buddys CRX got a few good runs went to break it in on the highway and shit just failed his was worse tho he got the Heat damage all the way up to the piston pin the whole rod was blue and his bearings were gone…
then when we rebuilt it we shatterd the Oil ring in the oil pump ive never seen that befor it was in 4 pieces the outer ring, it just fell appart. but hes got a LS/V-T up and runnin now in a EG puttin 400 to the wheels
what where his issues? oil pump failure?? i’ve got all winter to rebuild another engine so next spring ill be ready once again! if my turbo is fried for the third time im ditching the GT series and going with a journal bearing this time. much cheaper.
