My new da9

I have that filler panel in red I can sell you
Shipping will be expensive I imagine.
It is definitely fixable though! There’s a few bolts behind the plastic that hold that panel on you’ll need to pull plastic out of the boot but it’s easy peasy. Email me at troy.harshberger@gmail and we can get you that panel shipped. It has some black plastic stuff on it you might want to use a plastic blade to get off and then some of the goof off stuff to clean that but it’s red and in good shape otherwise.

So heres an update on my car, I’ve fixed the rear end damage completely. found a guy who was parting out another red 93 gs so it worked out. I’ve just been doing normal maintenance so far, replaced the starter and a few other little things but it still runs good. Looking to replace the timing belt and passenger axle pretty soon. I hope to save some money throughout the year so I can respray it and get new suspension but we’ll see. Probably going to get it re-tinted pretty soon. Well Here’s some more current pics of the car’s condition. The only mods I’ve done are honda badge it and a skunk2 shift knob as well as delete the rear wiper and remove the intake resonator.

Looks good

great progress. Just curious why you decided to delete the rear wiper? I know it is a common thing to do i am just curious why anyone would delete it.

thanks. I honestly just got curious one day and was thinking up free to cheap mods to do. I never really used it anyway so I think it looks cleaner without it. plus I just think it makes the back look more busy. Although I might put it back on for winter, who knows.

well I’ve done a few upgrades to the car since I last posted, changed the timing belt, water pump, drive belts. then this happened… :frowning:

Here are some pictures of how she sits currently after fixing most of the damage. It’s now sitting on tein s techs with stagg struts. I also got a set of jdm one pieces and a type r lip. I just dremeled the stock 9004 silverstar bulbs I had to fit and they work great. Very easy diy to avoid the wire splicing etc.

Here is a shot right before the accident.

ohh man… sorry to hear this… I had exactly same side Damaged on my DA… some Idiot on a truck pulled out of the parking lot tearing my bumper off

dang that sucks man…but shes looking good.by the way what exhaust you got on there?

Ebay special catback, I had to extend it to fit since it’s made for 90-91. The only reason I replaced the stock one is because the tips were rotting off, it actually sounds really good though.

Just read your thread. Keep up the good work. Hopefully no more accident. Body parts add up quick.

thanks man. iwas looking into those because my parents keep asking me when im gonna get my muffler fixed. i always tell them i need more than a muffler im missing everything from the cat back. so im might just pick up one of these. also how was the installation? aside from the 90-91 thing. anyhow good progress man looking forward to whats in store for the car.

the install was simple, but I had access to a lift. the only problem you might run into is some pretty stuck bolts being on the underbody of the car.

How do the stagg struts/shocks ride and how much of a drop are you on?

they ride decent and its a 2 inch drop, feels like stock honestly. good setup for dd, although I wish it was .25 lower in the rear. update…

Dang son. That thing is looking super clean now. Great thread!!

Looks good as always Blake. This is Robert btw.

Nothing much has changed on the car. I blew up a transmission a year ago so I put a y1 b16 transmission in it but I’m probably going to have to change it again because it whines and I’m sure its an input shaft bearing. The only other changes I’ve done is stock bumper lights, stock 92-93 tails and a modfied oem dc2 shifter. I’d like to get some coilovers on it this year and possibly get different wheels but we will see. Maybe I’ll get a b18c1 one of these days as it still has the original b18a1 at 265k.

Here are a few pictures I took a year or so ago. Still looks the same but the paint could really use a good claybar and polish.
