Yep, they are CTR pistons and they ARE .25mm overbore.

Armaan - Ummm, that shiz was weird. I started tripping out when I was drinking it and sucked up a grape. I did not expect that one… It was pretty good though.

I am going to build an all motor LS that will kill most vtec setups pretty easily. I am going to build a 13 second LS That isnt a joke either.

BR: Sounds awesome!!! I plan to be hitting a nice very very low 14 in a few weeks. I’m sure the tranny, flywheel & clutch & testpipe have GOT to help. I’ll be sure to keep you posted
What compression ratio will those yield? Do you have to completely pull your motor and bring it to a machine shop to have it bored and all? At one point you were talking about just opening up the bottom and sliding the new pistons in. Of course w/ the overbore pistons you can’t really do that right?

I would be really interested in talking to you about what you have done so far and what you plan on doing to hit those times. I have a lot of work ahead of me, luckily I am in no big hurry to get it done. That gives me plenty of time to save money and wait for good deals on my parts…
Leif - These pistons will yield me an 11.45:1 compression ratio. That is without milling the head I think I will leave it there so it will be safe with the pump gas.
I will be tearing down my whole motor and having everything machined (block and head). I am going to do a complete rebuild from the oil pan to the valve cover too.
I have a lot of work ahead of me and a lot of parts that I still need to get before any of this starts. If work continues to go how it is right now I should be able to get the rebuild done by the end of summer. That would make me very happy
In answer to your questions…
Yes I will take everything out and have them bore out my block to fit my pistons. I will also have them shotpeen my rods and balance my rotating… You get the point. I am going all out on this one.
If you want to sit down and have a beer sometime soon I will go over what I am going to do with you. There is too much to list here. Maybe we can get the guys together (Rob, Tony, Ty, etc.) and have a night out to do some drinking and shiz. We havent hung out in quite a while now.

I have some d16a6 pistons sitting around somewhere. Actually, I have the whole motor, harness, ECU, etc. over at a friends house…
I was gonna throw them in my teg but I dont think it could handle the compression that those monsters would put out, hehehe.

Those D16 pistons wouldnt even fit in your block…they are at least 92mm…geesh…

Thats why I was thinking about using the block out of my van. A big Chevy V8 and cutting it in half so it would be a 4 cylinder. Hell, works for me

looks amazing, i was going to use those but money only alowed b16a pistons in my LS block. my car goes in the shop in about 1 month;) ALL MOTOR B18A:p, oh and u have the JG 301’s? How do you like them? I got the 303’s in the JG race head, oh well, good luck man

integra2316 - Sounds like you have a good buildup going there. Are you having a shop do all your work??
As far as the JG 301’s go, I like them a lot. They have really good pull and are very streetable. I passed emissions with flying colors with them in.
