After i made that pass since i don’t have a catch can for the moment it leaked a little oil at the track and couldn’t race no more and on top of that they seen that i didn’t have a roll cage. That was my third pass, the first and second pass the car was misfiring then my tuner told me to change the plugs and that was it the car clear up and made a pass. Im going to the track again before it snows because i know that the car can go 10.60 or even better who knows.

Pretty nice for having “just a LS” but it still needs some one pieces to go with that drop.

my brother recorded the pass with his phone,then he drove to florida and a couple of hours before getting to florida he stayed at a hotel to rest and in the morning when he left he forgot the cell phone at the hotel never to be seen again. i was mad i even called to hotel myself but no luck. the cleaning people probably took it.

with them slicks and that much power you might want to condsider upgrading the driveshafts…last thing you want is snappin one and puttin a hole in the tranny :frowning:

517hp out of an ls head is no joke so congrats to you sir. what kinda of work was done to the head? port/valve/bowl…all of the above? just curious cuz the ls head dont flow too good, compaired to vtec heads, and…you were feeding it buttloads of air.

the head gots crower springs and retainers and supertech valve. for the port i didn’t had the funds to send it out to get worked on so i did what’s called a ghetto port and polish.

I see you have full interior so what is your suspension set up? because with all that wait it must be really hard to launch…

Suspension I Have Teins and tokico blues. i have to work on the suspension because when i launch it lifts real crazy from the front.

I want to switch to a ram manifold but i want to do one more summer with a log then ill switch. I know with a ram ill make more horsepower but they are not cheap lol.

I bet a traction bar would do some good too. Im about to try a full race.
