My super slow cheap build thread

yup, and i think i pm’d you about some wheels a while ago

But, on to the build up of my red turd,I took off the rest of the A/C stuff, put on my lovely skunk2 strut bar, my integra horn button, and put on a fugen shift knob. Then found a crack on the header that came with the car. I’ll probably throw some pics up tonight or tomorrow.

Bought some Ground Control coilovers with Blistein struts from a member here. Hopefully that goes well and I’ll get to lower it some. Also should be picking up some jdm headlights this week.

Put on my “Integra” Steering wheel cap today.

good work man. ready to see her get lowered, always love looking at before and after pics, so make sure you get a bunch from the same angles. how much of a drop are you doing?

I’m not sure how low, it will probably be a gradual thing, I haven’t had a lowered car in a few years. I also picked up some parts today(motor mounts and fuel filter). Hopefully be next Friday i will have it lowered, aligned, P/S pulled out and looped, Short shifter in, tranny fluid changed, Honda logos on, and my ITR boot in.

I also need to get some center caps for the wheels I think they are old prelude wheels, but please correct me if I’m wrong.

Picked up some JDM 1-pc today from a member on this forum, and started polishing them. Then put my ITR shit boot in.

i’ll buy em off you  i want some but they r pretty expensive, how much u pay for them?

I got a pretty good price from a local member, just check the for sale section. The cheapest place i found besides that was hmotorsonline.

Got some goodies in the mail today. I’ll be throwing them on tomorrow and posting some pics.

be waiting to see them

great setup, you should love them:up:

Okay, I just got out of my last final for this semester (and i’m praying I don’t fail out this semester). So I final have some time to work on the Integra and my Jetta. The plan is to replace my motor mounts, pulling out P/S, put in the short shifter, replace my shifter bushings, put in some syncromesh fluid, and my 4 layers of super secret anti-theft/security, fix the backwards wheels, balance tires and wheels, Install my coilovers, and then finally get my alignment. (this plan is hopefully going to happen over the next 3 days, and I have lined up some labor of beer and food)

I would love to hear some suggestions on what to do after this, I have a plan, but it seams to keep evolving. The future of this car is very simple no boost and the only motor swap i’m considering is a b20 if the b18 dies, but I am planing a transmission build (b16 1st-4th, ls 5th, with a LSD). All I want is a fun, low cost daily that I can take to the drag strip and get a 14.99 (I will use nitrous if needed) in the 1/4 mile, and some thing that will be fun in the mountains also. I’m not looking to break new ground or set any records, This is simply for my enjoyment.

Here is some pics of my Jetta, the lovely z32 and my greatly missed 93’ si, because i’m a whore.

Ok, It rained all day yesterday. So nothing got done, hopefully today will work better.

Front motor mount was replaced yesterday, wheels all point in the same direction now, and some other small bs.

i can’t see the pics because i’m at school, but i’ll check back up when i get home. sounds good so far, weather sucks here too. yesterday was nice though, rained before that and it’s FREEZING today. keep up the work!

damn nice work, u still want those rims hit me up 4049698740 kevin

Thanks, If there are still around when I can put some more funds to the Integra I’ll grab them. Right now my money is going to Christmas stuff.

I didn’t get all the stuff I wanted to do done, and now other peoples projects are scheduled for next week. So I still have a few things to do and its way to cold to be out side, at least for me to be outside.
