My super slow cheap build thread

good progress keep it up

Thanks

looking forward to updates.

Had some time today to work on the car. Some things got painted, some got polished, some got installed, some got removed, and most got hit with simple green. I’m post some pics later tonight!

It got dark before i got to take any pic’s so, I’ll take better ones tomorrow.

I got the headlights in, pulled the windshield washer thing, the lower half of the factory intake, painted my crappy intake, polish my bumper lights, and use a full bottle of simple green.

I used the same paint as the valve cover, but didn’t bake it this time, so hopefully it comes out about the same as the valve cover.

Good job! keep up the work man it looks alot better.
Anything done to the mk4?

Revo stage 1, Eurosport FMIC, forge 004 BOV, forge tip, 42dd 3’’ turboback, Evoms cold air intake, lots of r line goodies, boser hood, badgeless grill, gli headlights taillights and side markers, smoked bumper lens, 4-motion lip, 13w3v3,and new south gauges. I’m saving for some Blistin pss9’s for it

The Z is still more fun though, but everybody notices you in in the Z. Nobody ever looks twice at the Jetta.

Daytime pics plus bonus photo action!!!

1pc Headlights, I pull the front emblem to put my Honda one on and found out it was super glued on.

Bay pic, I also moved the line off of the cheap header. The intake came out really shitty, so I will be redoing it and baking it this time. Lotta stuff to get rid of and clean still.

Frozen Integra roof bonus action

Coilovers and alingment tomorrow! and I Windexed the side of the windshield for the fist time, it was so greasy i thought i was at burger king.

I found out i’m to low to get an alignment. Hopefully i’ll find some where to do it soon. But, on to the pics.

Before

VERY nice…love the “SLAM” look… the 1 pieces are also a +

I’ll probably raise it some.

looks clean how does it ride slammed like that

Its not that bad of a ride, I just can get on an alignment rack.

quick question, where can i find that strut bar?

I don’t think they make them for the DA anymore.

wack, i was just on there site…and they only got em for civics. i know EF and the DA engine bay and suspension are pretty compatible, can anybody back up this info? EF strut bar on a DA?

I believe mine is for a EF or DA. On Skunk2’s website they only list them for EG’s, EK’s, DC’s, and the rear for EF’s

Started working on the seat belts today, I just pulled the green plug for now. Hopefully I’ll be able to get Acura to fix it, but it dosen’t look like that now. I also played with the ride height abit also.

Hopefully i’ll be picking up some wheels tonight, if i do i’ll throw some pics up.
