I just put a precision turbo on my car. The oil line from the oil sending unit. When i drive around not in boost its fine… But on the other hand when i jump on it it smokes really really bad. Anyone know anything about this?? Thanx guys…
do you have pics of your oil return line?
nope but i’m thinking it might be 2 small and the turbo is getting to much oil so its burning because it isnt draining quick enough…thats what i think
was the turbo brand new?
yup brand spankin new.
i’d say that it is angled a bad way. maybe kinked. your turbo may not be gettin enough oil flow…
im not an expert, but i had turbo problems once before and that was one of them.
would it smoke though if it wasnt getting enough?
what turbo model did u put on and whats your setup? Whats the milege on your motor and what color is the smoke?
the smoke is white and i no its not the motor because it’s fine untill im in boost

anyway. when i had the problem with not enough oil, the smoke was black. white smoke, i believe is coolant (not really sure).
could be ur headgasket going out. it happened to me…
