Nawaaz's Build Thread

Hi guys, I figure… G2 Integra forum, maybe I should share my build, well Im not going to waste your time with minor chit chat… but here goes.

First of all, I was going to turn this LS into a track car, but I found a mint RS to build so the LS is now my winter beater.

In a couple weeks, the shell will be sent out to Ultimate Sandblasting and Coating in London, ON. It will be getting completely restored, solely because I cant sandblast a car in my garage and coat it in POR-15.

Then the car will be sent to Benchmark (Paint shop to get some work done) in London, ON. Getting the interior and engine bay sprayed in Root Beer Metallic :D.

After that, the car comes home, and starts getting reassembled

Im praying its done by Spring 2010 so that I can get a full track season in.

I will update often

ENGINE IS OUT! Will post pictures tomorrow, and bump the thread
Myself, my 4 brothers, and my cousin pulled this engine out… without an engine hoist (it was buried in snow, and the jack wasnt working anyways), lol… you will see how

After everything was disconnected and the engine was ready to come out, this is how we decided to take it out, lol.

There ended up actually being 2 pieces of wood going in an X, 4 people lifting, 1 person maneuvering.

EMPTY!

The boys who made this happen.

So Monday I go and strip it completely of all harnesses and everything, and then sending her off to see Sid.

I would really like to thank Brian Nichols and Tony Shagday for all their help with everything. Great people to deal with! I really cant express how helpful and understanding they are

Nice parts, can’t wait to see some updates.

The wing looks primered. Is it a Pancake Racing remake? Carbon hatch, hood, Skunk2 PRO C, Miracle bars, Mugen bumper… how much did you spend? lol. I’d love to see those Miracle bars in your DA. God those bars are sexy.

If you were to use the carbon fiber hatch, I wouldn’t mount the wing on it. It would be better to keep the carbon fiber hatch without custom made holes.

Looks like you’re wanting to do a lot. Can’t wait to see the progess

this better happen!

ahhh mugen… siiiiccckkk

You won’t need that wing…give it to me

Good luck with your build.

Yessir, I should have clarified that it was a Pancake Racing remake. I have a couple sponsors, so Im not spending as much as you may thing ;). I want to make it into Honda Tuning with this DA :read: lol… hopefully.

It will happen :D… just got another job, so she will be done sooner than I thought :stuck_out_tongue:

Mugen FTW!

Bump! Updated!

Thats quite the collection of parts, I am exited to see everything installed!

thats very nice!
cant wait to see the end result.

What sponsors do you have?
i can obviously see alot of skunk2 parts, but you have a shop sponsoring you?

-karlo

Hey, I am sponsored by Skunk2 and Brian Crower.

We are doing the work all by ourselves… except for paint and sandblasting. So no shop is sponsoring this build.

 Good luck on the build!

rollinmyDA - Thanks man! Shes finally coming together… and Im soooo excited, lol

this thing needs to come out already!
