In a couple weeks, the shell will be sent out to Ultimate Sandblasting and Coating in London, ON. It will be getting completely restored, solely because I cant sandblast a car in my garage and coat it in POR-15.
Then the car will be sent to Benchmark (Paint shop to get some work done) in London, ON. Getting the interior and engine bay sprayed in Root Beer Metallic :D.
After that, the car comes home, and starts getting reassembled
Im praying its done by Spring 2010 so that I can get a full track season in.
I will update often

This week I hopefully pull the motor and send the car to Ultimate Sandblasting and Coating for the chassis resto fingers crossed

ENGINE IS OUT! Will post pictures tomorrow, and bump the thread
Myself, my 4 brothers, and my cousin pulled this engine out… without an engine hoist (it was buried in snow, and the jack wasnt working anyways), lol… you will see how
Pictures!
Engine in
Rad removed
After everything was disconnected and the engine was ready to come out, this is how we decided to take it out, lol.
There ended up actually being 2 pieces of wood going in an X, 4 people lifting, 1 person maneuvering.
EMPTY!
The boys who made this happen.
So Monday I go and strip it completely of all harnesses and everything, and then sending her off to see Sid.
I would really like to thank Brian Nichols and Tony Shagday for all their help with everything. Great people to deal with! I really cant express how helpful and understanding they are
The wing looks primered. Is it a Pancake Racing remake? Carbon hatch, hood, Skunk2 PRO C, Miracle bars, Mugen bumper… how much did you spend? lol. I’d love to see those Miracle bars in your DA. God those bars are sexy.
If you were to use the carbon fiber hatch, I wouldn’t mount the wing on it. It would be better to keep the carbon fiber hatch without custom made holes.
Looks like you’re wanting to do a lot. Can’t wait to see the progess
You won’t need that wing…give it to me
Good luck with your build.
lol… that wing is one of my most precious parts
Thanks man, a lot more to come.
